Karnataka NEET 2026 Counselling Schedule: Check Registration & Other Dates

The KEA will start the Karnataka NEET Counselling registration 2026 soon after the exam results. The registration will be held online on the website of KEA. Candidates need to register online to participate in the admission process.

KCET exam is not compulsory for NEET UG exam. However, KCET registration or UGCET registration is mandatory for candidates who want to participate in the Karnataka NEET Counselling. Candidates need to clear the NEET exam and should be KCET/ UGCET registered to take admissions to medical/ dental/ AYUSH seats.

Candidates can apply for admissions to MBBS, BDS, Dental, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses through the Karnataka NEET Counselling.

Candidates can apply for the Karnataka NEET Counselling through KCET or UGCET registrations. Moreover, the KEA invites the applications for Karnataka NEET after the announced of NEET results. MBBS/ BDS aspirants must apply to take admissions in Karnataka medical colleges.   

There are around four to five rounds of the Karnataka NEET Counselling for admissions to medical, dental, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses. The counselling rounds depend on the number of vacanct seats. 

Candidates who seek admissions to Karnataka government medical college with a NEET score of 500 marks will be able to get a seat. However, there may be chances that yoy will not be offered the dream college or course. Candidates should generally aim for more than 550 scores to get admissions to top medical colleges in the state.

The Karnataka NEET counselling is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. Hence, the official website of the Karnataka NEET UG counselling is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. All updates regarding the counselling process are displayed on the KEA portal.

• Register on the KEA website.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online for admission to various MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. KEA conducts Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. At present there are total of 43451 seats. Under the MBBS programme, there are 33829 seats and 9622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

The registration window for the round-1 Karnataka NEET UG counselling will open from the first week of July 2025 tentatively. The provisional seat allotment result will be released thereafter as per the schedule. KEA will issue a counselling dates and prospectus informing the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2025-26 soon.

KEA released the seat allotment result for every round separately. Candidates can download the provisional seat allotment result after the choice-filling and locking process concludes. The seat allotment result for the mop-up round will be released at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. At present, KEA has concluded the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2024-25.
