Karnataka NEET Counselling Dates 2026: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the counselling after the announcement of NEET 2026 result. The Karnataka NEET UG Counselling dates 2026 will be published on the KEA website. The Karnataka NEET registrations 2026 will begin along with the release of dates and information bulletin. Candidates who want to get admissions to MBBS, BDS and other UG medical seats in state colleges need to participate in the counselling process.

The counselling conducting authority, KEA, will begin the Karnataka NEET 2026 counselling process with the online registrations. Karnataka NEET Counselling 2026: Highlights

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 process will be conducted online as well as offline. Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the state counselling for admission to medical and dental colleges after the announcement of NEET results. The first step of Karnataka NEET counselling is registration. It is important to register online to participate in the KEA NEET UG counselling. Candidates must note that the registration for each round is conducted separately in the Karnataka MBBS/ BDS counselling. After the submission of the registration form, the conducting body issues the merit and seat allotment list of candidates who can take book their seats in the desired colleges.

Candidates whose names are included in the list must report to the document verification centres if needed otherwise, the verification is done online. After this, candidates have to fill the choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates is released first, and then the final list is displayed, depending upon the cut-off and availability of seats.

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2026: Registration Dates

The KEA will announce the registration dates for the Karnataka NEET counselling 2026 on its website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. The registrations will be invited online for round 1 of the Karnataka NEET 2026 Counselling. However, there will not be registration available for each round of counselling. Candidates will only be avilable to rearrage their options in subsequent rounds or can modify their choices for the Karnataka NEET 2026 counselling.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online for admission to various MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. KEA conducts Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. At present there are total of 43451 seats. Under the MBBS programme, there are 33829 seats and 9622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Q:   When will the counselling for Karnataka NEET UG begin?

The registration window for the round-1 Karnataka NEET UG counselling will open from the first week of July 2025 tentatively. The provisional seat allotment result will be released thereafter as per the schedule. KEA will issue a counselling dates and prospectus informing the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2025-26 soon.

Q:   When will KEA release the Seat Allotment result for the mop-up round?
A: 

KEA released the seat allotment result for every round separately. Candidates can download the provisional seat allotment result after the choice-filling and locking process concludes. The seat allotment result for the mop-up round will be released at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. At present, KEA has concluded the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2024-25.
