Karnataka NEET Counselling 2026: Highlights
Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the state counselling for admission to medical and dental colleges. Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 process will be conducted online as well as offline. The first step of Karnataka NEET counselling is registration. It is important to register online to participate in the KEA NEET UG counselling. Candidates must note that the registration for each round is conducted separately in the Karnataka MBBS/ BDS counselling. After the submission of the registration form, the conducting body issues the merit and seat allotment list of candidates who can book their seats in the desired colleges.
Candidates whose names are included in the list must report to the document verification centres if needed; otherwise, the verification is done online. After this, candidates have to fill the choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates is released first, and then the final list is displayed, depending upon the cut-off and availability of seats.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online for admission to various MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. KEA conducts Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. At present there are total of 43451 seats. The registration window for the round-1 Karnataka NEET UG counselling will open from the first week of July 2025 tentatively. The provisional seat allotment result will be released thereafter as per the schedule. KEA will issue a counselling dates and prospectus informing the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2025-26 soon.
KEA released the seat allotment result for every round separately. Candidates can download the provisional seat allotment result after the choice-filling and locking process concludes.
