Re NEET 2026 Answer Key Date
The NTA will soon release the final NEET answer key 2026 . To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. The Scanned Copies of the NEET OMR sheet 2026 have been released. The NTA released the NEET provisional answer key 2026 along with the objection link on June 25. Candidates who took the exam could challenge the answer key till June 28, 2026.

The NEET 2026 exam pattern has been released. The NTA mentioned the pattern in the information bulletin. There is no change in the NEET pattern. The NTA changed the NEET question paper pattern in 2025. The NTA removed the optional questions and the exam duration was reduced by 20 minutes.
The NEET UG exam has 180 questions. Out of these, 45 questions are from Physics, 45 from Chemistry and 90 from Biology (45 each in Botany and Zoology). All 180 questions are compulsory to attempt.
NEET 2026 Result Date
The NEET 2026 result date is expected to be July 20. NTA will release the NEET result 2026 along with the scorecard, cut off and AIR list. The NEET result 2026 will contain the toppers list, city and centre-wise result data, the total number of qualified candidates, marks obtained by top scorers and other data along with the results.

NEET 2026 Counselling Dates
NTA’s role in the conduct of the NEET UG 2026 exam will get over with the release of the scorecards. The NEET 2026 counselling will be conducted by the MCC. The MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 will tentatively begin in July 2026. The NEET Counselling schedule 2026 will be announced after the exam results. The entire duration of NEET counselling is around four months. There will be four to five rounds of counselling for admissions to UG medical courses like MBBS, BDS and others.

However, the NTA expert committee headed by ISRO Chief K. Radhakrishnan has recommended conducting NEET twice a year, but there has not been any official confirmation on it yet.
