The NEET 2025 application form process concluded on March 7, 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET 2025 application form on February 7, 2025. NTA conducted the NEET 2025 application correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025. Unlike previous years, the NTA did not extend the last date for submitting the NEET 2025 application form or reopen the application window. The exam authorities had released an advisory and reminder to complete the NEET 2025 registration and application process within the stipulated date. 

According to NTA, the total number of NEET 2025 registrations received was 22,76,069. Out of 22,09,318 candidates who had appeared for the exam, 12,36,531 candidates have qualified.  As compared to last year, the NEET 2025 total number of applicants and test takers has decreased.

The NEET 2025 exam date was May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The NEET 2025 result was declared on June 14, 2025.

To access and fill the NEET application form 2025, candidates had to visit the official website of the exam to register and apply for NEET 2025 by entering the mandatory details, uploading documents and paying the application fee.  

The NEET 2025 Counselling process commenced on July 21, 2025, for the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The first step for eligible candidates is to fill up the NEET 2025 counselling registration form. According to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the registration form populates the information from the NEET application form 2025. It has also advised candidates to upload the same photograph and signature which they used on the NEET 2025 application form, to avoid discrepancies. In case there is a mismatch of information during the document verification process, candidates' seat allotment offers may get cancelled.

How to fill NEET Application Form 2025?

The NEET 2025 application form-filling process was completely online. The process was divided into three to four steps, which are as follows:

  • Filling up the NEET Registration 2025 form and generating the password
  • Logging in with the NEET 2025 registration details such as username and password 
  • Filling the NEET form
  • Document Upload
  • Payment of Fees

Step 1: Registration

 

 

  • Click on “New Candidate Register Here" tab and read the instructions
  • Click on 'New Registration' and read the instructions

Enter the following details on the NEET UG registration form 2025:

  1. Candidate’s Name
  2. Mother’s name
  3. Father’s name
  4. Date of birth
  5. Category
  6. Gender
  7. Nationality
  8. Persons with Disability
  9. Identification Type
  10. Identification Number
  11. Mobile number
  12. Email Id
  13. Password
  14. Enter Security Pin

Step 2: Filling up NEET Application Form 2025

  • Click on “Click here to login”
  • Login using the application number and password. As per the change, candidates can also login through their Academic Bank Credit Account Number (ABC ID) and Digilocker ID apart from the NEET 2025 Application Number and Password
  • The NEET form 2025 opened on your screen
  • Details entered during the registration process were pre-filled in the application and could not be changed

  • Check all the details carefully as they cannot be changed after the final submission of the NTA NEET 2025 application form, except for a few fields
  • To submit the duly checked application form, click on “Yes, please do” on the confirmation pop-up

Step 3: Upload scanned images and documents

  • Click on “Upload your recent documents”
  • Select the files to be uploaded
  • Click on “Next”
Step 4: Make Payment

To pay the NEET application fees 2025, select the desired mode of payment (SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking/UPI). The NEET exam fees 2025 remained the same as last year.

A poll run on Shiksha.com has revealed that around 45 per cent of candidates do not have an APAAR ID. On the other hand, while around 25 of the candidates do have an APAAR ID, they have not entered it on the NEET 2025 application form.

Since the entire NEET form fill up 2025 had to be done online, applicants had to keep the following documents ready in the required format and sizes before filling out the form to avoid any last-minute hassles. Based on the latest guidelines by NTA, it was mandatory to provide Aadhaar details during the NEET 2025 application process, to ensure transparency and efficiency.

Unlike last year, the NEET application form documents require Class 10 Pass Certificate, Mark sheet, CGPA to Percentage Conversion Certificate, Identity Proof and Address Proof of candidates.

Candidates must keep the following documents safe till the NEET counselling or the medical admission process is concluded.

  • Printout of the confirmation page
  • Receipt for the payment of application fees
  • Six to eight copies of the uploaded photograph

NEET 2025 Application Correction

NTA has opened the NEET application correction facility for the registered candidates wherein they are given a chance to make necessary corrections or changes. The NEET 2025 application correction window was open from March 9 to March 11, 2025. Only those candidates submitting the NEET application form 2025 by paying the requisite application fee within the stipulated date will be eligible to avail of the NEET application correction facility. Take a look at the process to make the NEET 2025 application correction.

  • Visit the official website of NEET – neet.nta.nic.in 
  • Log in with the NEET 2025 registration credentials
  • Click on the tab ‘Correction in Application Form’
  • Read the instructions
  • Enter the OTP sent on the registered mobile number for verification
  • Make the necessary changes provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status
  • Click on Save
  • Download the updated Application Confirmation form

There was no additional fee to make corrections in the NEET registration 2025. However, there are a few fields which can not be edited. These fields included name, email ID and mobile number.

The following fields will be editable and uneditable, depending on whether the Aadhaar Number is linked or not. Take a look at the NEET UG registration details and the correction status below.
