NEET Cutoff 2026: The NTA will announce the NEET UG 2026 cutoff along with the results. The NEET cut off 2026 will be announced category-wise for General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD and EWS. The general category will see the highest qualifying cutoff scores, followed by other categories. Aspirants who meet the NEET cutoff criteria will qualify for the counselling process. The NEET cutoff is categorised as qualifying cutoff marks and admission cutoff rank. The AIIMS accepts NEET scores for admission to the MBBS. Students need to obtain the NEET cut off percentile and scores to get shortlisted for counselling in AIIMS MBBS course. NEET 2026 Cutoff: Determining Factors
The NTA determines the NEET cutoff based on the factors given below-
- Total number of candidates who appear for the examination: 22.79 candidates registered for NEET UG 2026. The number of appearing candidates will be available soon.
- Difficulty level of the examination: NEET 2026 difficulty level will be known soon.
- Number of seats available: The total number of seats available for MBBS and BDS courses is 1,18,190 and 27,868, respectively.
Just clearing the NEET result does not guarantee admission to a medical college. Students have to participate in the NEET counselling process, and seats will be allotted based on various factors like choices filled, number of seats available, among others.

The minimum qualifying percentile for OBC category in NEET UG exam is 40th. In NEET 2025, the cutoff score for OBC was 143-113. The NEET percentile of OBC remains the same every year. However, the scores get changed.
Yes, AIIMS Raipur accepts NEET scores. There is no other entrance exam conducted by AIIMS Raipur or AIIMS institutes for MBBS admission. Although earlier AIIMS used to conduct its own entrance exam, but it was scrapped in 2020. The admission to AIIMS Raipur takes place through NEET counselling, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. AIIMS Raipur seats are a part of the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Candidates must secure a NEET score above 700 in order to have a chance to get admission to the MBBS course in this coveted medical institute of India.
