The NIFT 2025 application form is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses.
The written exams of NIFT 2025 will be conducted on February 9, 2025.
Note that the NIFT 2025 written exams comprise the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT).
B.Des and M.Des candidates need to appear in both CAT and GAT, while candidates opting for other courses only need to take the GAT.

How to apply for NIFT 2025
NTA will release the application form online at the NTA - NIFT admission portal.
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for the exam following the step-wise process below.
- Register for the exam - To register for the exam, the candidate must first enter their Aadhaar number. Then enter personal details like name, email ID, and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form - Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center for the NIFT 2025 exam.
- Upload documents - In this step, you will have to upload documents like photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee - The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process.
