NIFT Application Form Correction 2026 - NTA opens the NIFT 2026 application correction window today, January 21, 2026. The NTA has released a notice regarding the updated dates and items that can be edited. Using the correction facility, the candidate can edit all the particulars in the application form except for their registered email and mobile number. The application correction window is open till January 22, 2026, 11:50 PM. No fees will be charged by NTA to make any corrections in the NIFTEE Registration form.
NIFT 2026 Application forms and Notifications are closed now for B.Des, M.Des, B.F. Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M programmes with regular and late fees of INR 5,000. The application form was released at nift.ac.in. The NIFT entrance exam application form was the same for all courses. The application fee for NIFT was INR 2,000 (INR 500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories).

What is NIFT Application Correction Window?
NIFT gives the opportunity to edit the NIFT application form if there was any mistake at the time of filling the application form. It opens after the Application window is closed. Candidates can edit certain information like Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, etc. This window is known as NIFT Application Correction Window. Using the NIFT 2026 application correction window, the candidate can also upload fresh documents.

Candidates were given the option to edit the NIFT 2026 application form for a limited time period.
Using NIFT application edit option, candidate will be able to edit or correct some of the information in registration form. Some of the details the candidate can edit include name, date of birth, category, state domicile, etc. However, the candidate is not allowed to edit the exam city. The schedule for the application correction will be notified by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at its admission portal - niftadmissions.in.

The NIFT 2026 application fee is category-specific. The application fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD Category need to pay only INR 1,500. The application fee has to be paid online using net banking, credit, or debit cards. The application fee will have to be paid at the time of filling out the NIFT application form. Note that payment made using demand draft will not be accepted.

Can I edit admission category in NIFT 2026 Application form?
Yes, the candidate can also modify their admission category. To make the changes, the candidate simply needs to edit the category option. Also, the candidate must pay the additional fee (wherever applicable) using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI available on the application portal.
It is recommended that the candidate select the correct category because all details will be verified at the time of NIFT 2026 counselling. If any anomaly is found, the candidate may be disqualified from the admission process.

Candidates must follow the steps listed below to edit the NIFT 2026 application form.

- Enter your registered application number, email ID, and DOB to log in
