NIFT 2027 Correction Window: Check Editable & Non-Editable Items in Application Form

NIFT Application Form Correction 2027 - NTA will open the NIFT 2027 application correction window for candidates to make correction in the NIFT Registration form. The NTA has released a notice regarding the dates and items that can be edited. Using the correction facility, the candidate can edit all the particulars in the application form except for their registered email and mobile number. The application correction window will open from November 22 to 25, 2026. No fees will be charged by NTA to make any corrections in the NIFTEE Registration form.

NIFT registrations are open now for B.Des, M.Des, B.F. Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M programmes with regular and late fees of INR 5,000. The application form is available at nift.ac.in. The NIFT entrance exam application form is the same for all courses. The application fee for NIFT is INR 2,000 (INR 500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories). NIFT entrance exam will be conducted on January 10, 2027.

What is NIFT Application Correction Window?

NIFT gives the opportunity to edit the NIFT application form if there is any mistake at the time of filling the application form. It opens after the Application window is closed. Candidates can edit certain information like Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, etc. This window is known as NIFT Application Correction Window. Using the NIFT 2027 application correction window, the candidate can also upload fresh documents.

Can I edit admission category in NIFT 2027 Registration form?

Yes, the candidate can also modify their admission category. To make the changes, the candidate simply needs to edit the category option. Also, the candidate must pay the additional fee (wherever applicable) using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI available on the application portal.

It is recommended that the candidate select the correct category because all details will be verified at the time of NIFT counselling. If any anomaly is found, the candidate may be disqualified from the admission process.

How to make corrections in NIFT Registration Form 2027?

Candidates must follow the steps listed below to edit the NIFT 2027 application form.

1. Go to the NIFT 2027 admission portal
2. If the Correction Window is open, the link will be activated
3. Click on the NIFT 2027 application form Correction tab
4. You will be redirected to a log-in window
5. Enter your registered application number, email ID, and DOB to log in
6. On log-in, you will be able to make the necessary changes
7. Submit the application form after making the corrections

• Copy of Board / University Certificate for Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s
• Name and Date of Birth
• Type of Identification–Bank A/c passbook with photograph /Passport Number/ Ration Card/
• Aadhaar Card Number/ Voter ID Card Number/ Other Govt ID
• Qualifying Degree Certificate or last semester marks sheet
• Your Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address with PIN code
• Four cities for Centres of your choice
• Category Certificate, if applicable
• Undertaking / Result Awaited Certificate, if applicable
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate, if applicable
• SC, ST, OBC (NCL) Certificate, if applicable
• Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate & UDID, if applicable
• E-mail address and Mobile Number of the candidate
• Scanned images in JPG format only
• Candidate’s Photograph - File size must be between 10-200 KB.
• Candidate’s Signature in running hand - File size must be between 04-30 KB.

NIFT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

The NTA will release the program-wise eligibility criteria for NIFT 2027.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to carefully go through the eligibility criteria. Note that unless the candidate meets these conditions, he or she will not be considered for admission.
