UGC NET 2025 June Shift Timings
The UGC NET exam is held in two shifts each day:
- Shift 1: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM
Candidates must reach their respective exam centres at least one hour before the start of the exam to complete security and verification procedures.
Important Guidelines for Candidates Appearing for UGC NET 2025
- Admit Card & ID Proof: Carry a printed copy of the UGC NET admit card and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.).
- Reporting Time: Late entry to the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.
- Banned Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.
- Question Paper Pattern: Each paper consists of two parts – Paper I and Paper II, both conducted in a single sitting of three hours. There is no break between the two papers.
