APEdCET Counselling 2026: Registration, Documents Required & College Reporting

Mentioned below are some of the important documents that candidates are required to keep during the time of counselling: 

1. AP EdCET 2026 Hall Ticket
2. AP EdCET 2026 Rank Card
3. TransferCertificate(TC)
4. DegreeMarksMemos/ConsolidatedMarksMemo
5. DegreeProvisionalCertificate
6. IntermediateMarksMemo/DiplomaMarksMemo
7. SSC or its equivalent Marks Memo
8. Study Certificates from Class IX to Degree
9. Residence Certificate (incase where candidate has no institutionalized education) in respect of Private candidates of AP State
10. Residence certificate of either of the parents in AP for 10 years, excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh, from the competent authority in respect of Non-Local Candidates.
11. Latest valid Income Certificate or Ration Card issued by the competent authority containing the name of the candidate
12. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority 
13. Latest Economically Weaker Section(EWS) certificate if applicable

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Scouts & Guides/Sports at the time of certificate Verification at Help Line Centre, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar:

a) PH: Certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above is ability are only eligible.

b) CAP: Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (In case of Ex Servicemen) Identity card and Service Discharge book for verification. Candidates whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

c) NCC & Sports : To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.

d) Scouts & Guides : To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.

e) Anglo-Indian: A Certificate issued by Competent Authority of their place of Residence.

Note: Original Certificates need not be deposited in the college at the time of admission

The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of total marks (i.e. 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies.

Candidates who score equal to or more than the prescribed APEdCET cut off marks 2026 will be shortlisted for the next process. The detailed cut off marks of the APEdCET entrance exam 2026 will be displayed below shortly.

Candidates will be ranked in each methodology in the order of merit based on marks obtained in the APEdCET 2026 examination. Where there is a tie in total marks, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of a further tie, the marks obtained in Part A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case candidates get equal marks in each of the parts of the test, they shall be bracketed for the award of rank. At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority. The rank obtained in APEdCET 2026 is valid for entry into BEd course for the academic year 2026 only.

Acharya Nagarjuna University releases the merit list based on the candidate's rank along with the AP EdCET Result.
