IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019 by Students: Exam Level Moderate to Difficult

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis: The mains exam of IBPS Clerk was conducted on January 19, 2020, at various centres across the country. The candidates who had qualified the prelims exam appeared in the mains exam. This year, IBPS Clerk mains exam was easy to moderate. According to IBPS Clerk mains exam analysis 2019-20, there was no surprise in terms of question papers and exam pattern. The level of questions and exam pattern remained similar to the previous year.

According to the review provided by the candidates, the General/Financial Awareness and General English sections of IBPS Clerk mains exam were easy to moderate. While, the Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude was moderate. On the other hand, the level of the Quantitative Aptitude section was difficult and lengthy.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019-20 by students 

Shiksha visited one of the exam centres of IBPS Clerk mains exam in Noida. Majority of students who took the exam shared that the difficulty level was easy to moderate. Candidates can check below the feedback given by the candidates. 

Mohit said, "The sections were easy to moderate and not that difficult. In Maths, you could attempt 30-35 out of 40. In Reasoning section, candidates could easily attempt 35-38, out of 50. The English section was good and candidates could easily solve 25-30 questions easily. It was not tough. The Current Affairs questions were very simple. Moslty, the questions in the Current Affairs section were based on the events that happened in November, December and January. My attempt was 141, out of 190."

Another student named Mohit Sharma, who took the IBPS Clerk mains exam said, "The GA section was easy while the English section was moderate. The Reasoning section was easy to moderate while Quantitative Aptitude was easy."

Sourav said, "The GA section was not that difficult to attempt. The English, Maths and Reasoning sections were moderate."

Aman said, "Questions in GA section were asked from the events that took place in the month of November and December. In Reasoning section, mostly questions were asked from puzzles. The cut-off might be around 105."

"The exam was moderate. The GA was a little tough. The Maths were easier while Reasoning was moderate. Current Affairs questions were asked from Financial Awareness. There were no questions from Computer Aptitude," said another student.

Overall IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 

The mains exam comprised only objective tests of 190 questions. The total duration of the test was 160 minutes. The arrangement of questions were defaulted by the server. As the time limit for each section was fixed so, the students had to answer the questions within the specified time. The maximum marks allotted to the test are 200. Candidates can check below good attempts and level of difficulty.
