IBPS Clerk 2019 exam will be conducted on December 7 and 8. Here are few IBPS Clerk exam day guidelines which candidates need to follow on the exam day. 

Two days to go for IBPS Clerk 2019 exam; Check Dos’ & Don’ts

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is all set to conduct the IBPS Clerk 2019 prelims exam on December 7 and 8. The exam will be conducted online across various cities spread throughout the country in multiple slots. IBPS Clerk prelims admit card has been released for the candidates who have registered successfully for the exam. The admit card is available to download till December 8, 2019. Candidates can download the admit card by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

IBPS Clerk prelims exam pattern 2019 comprises three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The question paper will have total 100 questions which candidates need to answer within 60 minutes. Candidates will get 20 minutes to answer the questions. The question paper will be set in English and Hindi. Total marks allotted to the test are 100.

Before appearing in IBPS Clerk exam candidates should check the following guidelines circulated by the examination authority. Candidates must follow these guidelines or else they will be debarred from appearing in the exam.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam – Dos’ & Don’ts

Dos’

  • Note carefully the roll number, date of exam, reporting time and venue of exam given in the call letter.
  • Candidates should be present in IBPS Clerk exam centre 30 minutes before the time given in the admit card.
  • Those who reach the examination late will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
  • Bring IBPS Clerk admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.
  • Candidates are required to put their left thumb impression in the space provided in the admit card infront of the invigilator.
  • Hand over the admit card along with the photocopy of the identity proof to the invigilator.
  • Candidates should bring stationary items like pencils, eraser and a ball point pen to the examination hall.
  • Carry recent passport sized photographs along with the admit card.

Don’ts

  • Any stationary items like textual material, bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log tables, electronic pen/scanner, etc are not allowed.
  • Candidates cannot carry any communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth, camera, earphones, pager, health band, etc.
  • Do not wear goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, etc.
  • Do not bring any metallic items, food, water bottle etc inside the exam centre.
  • Candidates wearing ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc. will be thoroughly checked.
  • Those who will be found either copying or receiving will be disqualified.
  • Do not leave the exam hall before completion of the test.
  • Do not put mehendi as biometric impression will be captured at the exam centre.
  • Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid photo-identity proof.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Shift Timings

The exam will be conducted in the following shifts.

Shift 1 Shift 2 Shift 3 Shift 4

Reporting Time: 8 am

Exam Time: 9 to 10 am

Reporting Time: 10.30 am

Exam time: 11.30 am to 12.30 pm

Reporting Time: 1 pm

Exam Time: 2 pm to 3 pm

Reporting Time: 3.30 pm

Exam Time: 4.30 to 5.30 pm

The minimum basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 124050. The maximum is INR 64480. IBPS Clerk salary is decided by Central Government. Candidates are also get various allowances and benefits.
