SSC GD Result 2025: Poll Opinion

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon announce the results of the SSC GD Constable 2025 exam. The result is all set to be released in June 2025. A recent shiksha.com poll highlights the opinion of candidates who took the exam regarding the SSC GD marks 2025. 35 per cent of candidates hope their SSC GD scores to be below 120, 15% hope their scores to be above 140 in the SSC GD exam that was conducted online from February 4 to 25, 2025.

Q:   When will the SSC GD result get declared?
A:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the SSC GD result after the completion of the assessment process. The SSC GD result is announced at ssc.gov.in. Along with the GD result, the commission announces the force-wise and category-wise GD Constable Cut Off. The SSC GD marks is also released. The SSC GD marks and score card contain the section-wise scores of candidates. The SSC GD result only contains the qualifying status, cut off marks and force-wise qualifying numbers. 

Q:   Is the SSC GD 2025 result out?

The SSC GD final result 2025 will be released soon. The SSC GD result will be announced based on the candidates' performance in the CBE, physical test and medical test. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declares the SSC GD Constable results at ssc.gov.in, along with the cut-off marks and merit list of candidates shortlisted for appointment in the forces. 

Q:   How the final allocation of candidates is done in SSC GD exam?
A:

The final allocation of candidates is done based on the performance of candidates in the CBE and the preference chosen by the candidates. The SSC GD PST/PET and medical examination (DME) are qualifying in nature. Candidates need to get into the SSC GD final merit list to get shortlisted for post allocation.

According to the poll, 17% of the candidates believe they will score between 120 to 130. The largest response group is 35% who expect scores below 120.   • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Document Verification (DV)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Q:   I am not able to find my name or roll number in SSC GD result/merit list. What does that mean?
A:

If you are not able to find your name or roll number on the SSC GD Constable result or merit list, it means that you have not qualified the exam. A candidate is moved to the next phase of the hiring process after clearing the first phase, that is, Computer-Based Examination (CBE) of the SSC GD. If canddiates fail to clear the SSC GD CBE, they need to retake the exam in the next cycle.

The tie-breaking policy of SSC GD is done when two candidates secure the same marks or positions in the exam. This done based on date of birth, marks in each section, alphabet-wise names gets higher rank.

SSC GD Constable merit list is released in PDF form by SSC. It shows the roll numbers of qualified candidates for the next round of selection process. The list is released along with the cut off marks so that candidates can check they have qualified for the physical test or final recruitment.
