Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test 2025 ( Bihar STET )

Bihar STET Shift Timing
Bihar STET exam 2025 will be conducted from October 14 to November 16, 2025. The exam will be conducted in an online CBT mode across 9 districts of Bihar. The Bihar STET exam will be conducted in two shifts- morning (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) and afternoon. For Bihar STET paper 1 (Secondary Level) and paper 2 (Higher Secondary Level), candidates get 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt all questions.
It is advised that all the candidates appearing for Bihar STET 2025 must reach an hour before the exam to avoid any delay, as latecomers will not be allowed in the allotted exam centers. The validity of Bihar STET is lifetime. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts the Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers and Higher Secondary level teachers in Bihar schools. The Bihar STET exam is consist of two papers, Paper 1 (Secondary level) and Paper 2 (Higher Secondary level). The Bihar STET Secondary level teachers are for Classes 9 and 10 and Higher Secondary level teachers are for Classes 11 and 12. Candidates appearing for Bihar STET 2025 must know that the exam will be conducted in two shifts- morning and afternoon. Exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Bihar STET second shift (afternoon) starts after a break, and the first shift ends.

It is important to note that you must reach the exam center at the reporting time, which is 1hr30min before the exam time. If your exam is starting at 9:30, you must arrive at the center at 8 AM in the morning. Gates will close 30 minutes before the time of the examination.
Bihar STET 2025 Paper 1 is scheduled from October 14 to October 31, 2025. Whereas, the Bihar STET Paper 2 is from November 1 to November 16.
For both Bihar STET Paper 1 and Paper 2, exams will be conducted in two shifts. BSEB STET Shift timing will be mentioned in the admit card.
Bihar STET exam is held online in computer-based test mode. In the exam, candidates need to mark their answers on the desktop. Candidates need to complete the exam in two hours and thirty minutes.
The Bihar STET subjects are different for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET Paper 1 subjects are - Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and Nritya. The Bihar STET Paper 2 subjects are- Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bangla, Maithili, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, Music and Botany. The common subject for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is Pedagogy and Other Skills.

- You must take a colored printout of your admit card
- Paste your coloured photograph on the admit card
- Paste the same photograph given by you at the time of application.

The Bihar STET answer key has been released at bsebbstet.org. The Board released the answer key and candidates' response sheet for the candidates. The last date to send the objections is November 27.

As per the official notice, the Bihar STET result 2025 is expected by November 16. The BSEB will conduct the BSTET exam 2025 from October 12 to 31. The answer key will also be released within a week from the exam.
