No mock test before the exam day: It is advised by the experts to not take a mock test a day before the CUET UG 2022 exam date. However, those with exams scheduled for later dates should take at least a couple of mock tests before their exam. This will not only help in revision but will also help in finalising the test-taking strategy. You can also go through their previously taken mock tests with a high score to revise the answer-solving method and shortcuts.

Decide the exam-taking strategy: If you have not decided on the exam-taking strategy, it is high time to do so. All you have to do is to chalk out the strategy to attempt the exam. Since there would be no section-wise fixed duration, you must be careful to allocate your time for each section of the test. You may decide the section-wise order of taking the test based on your convenience and comfort. It is advisable that you start with the areas of your strength followed by not-so-strong areas. This will help boost your confidence. You should also plan on the number of questions to attempt in order to fulfil the CUET UG cutoff criteria.

Q:   What are the important rules that candidates need to take care of during the examination?
A:
During the exam, each candidate are required to attempt subject as per the choice selected in the application form. Candidates are suggested to ensure that name of the subject on the screen is the same as per their admit card. If candidates faces any issue or in case of any discrepancy candidates need to inform invigilators immediately. Notably, candidates must attempt subjects as per their choice in the application, and they are suggested to take proper care of this point. As once printed on the candidates issued admit card the subject will not be changed.
Q:   What special facilities are provided to PwD candidates to appear for CUET exam?
A:

As per the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines, PwD candidates will be provided with following facilities:

  1. Scribe facility: In case the candidate has physical limitation and required a scribe for writing the exam, he/she must be certified in the format provided by CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
  2. Compensatory time: PwD candidates will get extra time of one hour whether such candidates use scribe facilities or not.
Q:   When should I reach the CUET exam centre?
A:

Candidates must ensure to reach the alloted CUET exam centre two hours prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates must complete the drisking process and take their seats immediately after opening of the examination hall. If the candidates does not report at the alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, they will miss out on important instructions to appear for the exam. Candidates must obey with the instructions given at the CUET exam centre to avoid any disqualification.

Do not start any new topics: At this stage, it is futile to start any new topic or chapter. You would not get enough time to complete it, in terms of conceptual understanding or practice. Hence, if you have not started a particular topic or chapter yet, or are unable to get a grip over it, then it is advised that you do not attempt those areas at all.

Stay healthy and relaxed: There is no use in stressing over the exam right before the exam date. Be confident in your preparation and your skills. To maintain composure, you may listen to some music of your favourite genre or watch motivational videos or exam day tips, which will not only help you exude confidence but will relax your mind as well.
