CUET PG 2025 results came on May 6, 2025 and after the results National Testing Agency released the CUET PG cutoff 2025. Many people are tense after the results they got they are not happy but you need to understand that there are lot of ways you can make good scores in the exam.
If a candidate would like to know if they passed the CUET PG 2025 test for their program, they will have to search for the cutoff marks published by the colleges or universities that admitted learners to each respective program. The CUET cutoff is the least cutoff mark and highest score among all candidates who sit the CUET PG exam.

Once CUET PG 2025 results are made available, all colleges or universities will follow by posting the cutoff passing marks for that specific course. The cutoff marks will be used to shortlist candidates for admission to their PG program, which the candidate may not have received but depending on the program, could be useful. After receiving the CUET result, the universities or institutes will also post a counselling schedule and merit list for their respective programs as all candidates must receive a merit list based on CUET results.
CUET PG 2026 is a nation-level exam conducted for admissions to the master's degree and professional degree courses for around 200 participating universities. NTA, the exam conducting body, conducts the exam every year, and the role of NTA is till the declaration of results. The exam officials don't release any specific CUET PG cut-offs.
CUET PG cut-off 2026 will be released by the participating universities individually, depending upon the number of registrations made by the candidates and the availability of seats.
Since the CUET PG 2026 results and university-wise cutoffs are yet to be released. Based on the input taken by the candidates on the CUET PG exam difficulty level, candidates can check out the expected cut-off below:
- General Category: 190-210
- OBC Category: 180-200
- SC Category: 170-185
- ST Category: 165-175
Around 4 lakh candidates are expected to appear for CUET PG 2026 examinations to get admissions in the 157 subjects offered in master's degree and professional degree courses. In case the number of candidates and the difficulty level are lower than last year, the cutoff of CUET PG will be higher and vice versa.
