Although NTA, National Testing Agency is the CUET PG 2026 examination conducting body but the CUET PG 2026 Counselling process is not conducted by NTA. LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

CUET PG Passing Marks are the scores or marks to be obtained to qualify for admission to the universities. If the candidate wants to know whether they have passed the CUET PG exam or not, they are required to check the cutoff marks released by the participating universities and colleges. After the declaration of the CUET PG result, all participating universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET PG cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for the counselling process.

After the CUET PG 2026 result declaration, the Participating Universities will separately release their merit list or shorlisted candidate's list who are selected for participating in the counselling process for that college. Candidates will then have to register and pay the requiste or asked registration fee for admission and visit the institution's campus with the list of documents.
