For admission in Universities through CUET UG 2026, the policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. The CUET Biology exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and candidates must attempt all questions within 60 minutes. Each correct answer carries 5 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Meanwhile, the JoSAA 2026 counselling process has officially concluded for BTech/BE admissions at IIT Madras with the release of the Round 5 seat allotment results. For regular on-campus courses, the IIT Madras admission cycle generally begins between March and May and concludes in July.
