UPCATET 2026 Result for the UPCATET exam will be released on the online portal on June 23, 2026, tentatively as per last year's trends. The UPCATET result is published on the official portal of SVPUAT Meerut. The UPCATET 2026 Online Counselling Process is tentative to start the last week of June 2026, for Round 1.

The exam conducting authority will publish the UPCATET Result 2026 after the successful completion of the UPCATET 2026 exam. The exam date is expected to be June 11, 2026, and June 12, 2026. To check the UPCATET result, candidates need to fill in their roll number/registration number, date of birth, and course. 

The UPCATET Result 2026 will be released for students who applied to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut. Candidates are advised to have their UPCATET admit card 2026 saved, as they will need their registration number, password or date of birth to access the results on the official website.

How to Download UPCATET Result 2026?

Students must check out the following information to download the UPCATET Result.

  1. Visit the UPCATET site and click on the result link. 
  2. Click on the 'applicant login' tab. 
  3. Fill in their password, DoB and registration number. 
  4. Then filling their registration number, roll number, date of birth (DoB) and group of paper.
  5.  Once the form is filled out, read all the details and click on the submit button. 
  6. After submitting, one needs to download and save the result PDF to use it during the Admission process.

Q:   What to do the after declaration of results of UPCATET?
A: 

Applicants who qualify the UPCATET exam for the respective courses for which they have applied further need to appear in counselling. Applicants need to join counselling process possess the following items i.e Mobile phone, email id, date of birth, roll number and scanned copy of documents. 

The process of counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, uploading of document, document verification, dowloading of allotment letter and last admission process of the allotted universities.

 

Q:   What if I am unable to check the UPCATET 2024 result after its declaration due to error?
A: 

Students may face encounter a server error after the results are declared. As soon as the UPCATET result is out, the website experiences heavy traffic. Applicants should have patience and try again after a while. 

Q:   Is there negative marking in UPCATET exam?
A: 

Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in the UPCATET exam. For each correct answer applicants will be given 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/4th of the total marks or 1 mark will be deducted. 

The calculation of the score for the respective programmes will be taken into consideration by taking into account all correct & incorrect answers. After preparing the list of all candidates the authorities will prepare the list of successful applicants based on the availability of seats

Q:   What login credentials are required to check UPCATET result?
A: 

Applicants who will appear in UPCATET exam first visit the official website of the portal or visit Shiksha page. Then they have to click on link mentioned as "UPCATET Results". 

After clicking on the result a new window will be opened in which students have to fill login details such as their registration number (which was provided during registration time) and password (which will be sent to applicants on their registered email & mobile). 

After entering these details candidates will be able to access their result of UPCATET exam. Download and save it for future reference.

Q:   What will be the validity of UPCATET Results?

The validity of the UPCATET result is only considered for those candidates who qualify for the exam. The validity of UPCATET results will be valid for one year. Applicants need to use their score card to appear in the counseling for their respective courses in the same year only. Those who wish to give the UPCATET exam must score a minimum of 20 per cent if they come from the General category, and for SC/ST, the cutoff is 10 per cent.

A: 

No a student who belong to Bihar can not appear in UPCATET exam. As according to UPCATET eligibility criteria:

A) Such students who are living in UP from the last 5 years and have completed the required qualification from state only. 

B) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or place of origin is UP and he/she also belong to UP. 

C) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or their residence is not from UP but they acquired and have been living in the state for 5 years.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of UPCATET?
A: 

The UPCATET exam is compratively easy in comparison to JEE Main, BITSAT etc. exam. Applicants who have secured atleast 60 % marks in their academic exam are more likely to qualify the exam. Since it is state owned examination and number of users are also less in comparison to other competitve exam. 

Applicants just need to complete the syllabus within time and practise more and more to qualify the exam with good marks.

The result of UPCATET exam is declared by the exam conducting authority in online mode only.  The Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, is the exam conducting body. The exam conducting authority has clearly mentioned in the official broucher that "Open & Distance Education" will be considered for educational qualification eligibility criteria of UPCATET. 

Applicants who have completed their education as full time course will be eligible to fill the form and apply online. Only those students are required to fill the application form who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities.

The UPCATET 2026 exam is not complex. The UPCATET paper has 200 questions in total. All questions are MCQ type. The total marks are 800. The mode of the exam is offline, so students write on paper. UPCATET syllabus consists of Class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Home Science.

The UPCATET Syllabus is also based on the paper group selected by the students, like PCB/PCM/PAG/PHS. The NCERT is suggested for all Science subjects.
