AMU BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Aligarh Muslim University BA admission is entrance-based. The university conducts the Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Examination to admit students to various BA courses. For some courses, admission is provided based on the CUET UG scores of applicants. The step-wise process for BA admission at AMU is given below:
Step 1: Application Process
The entire application process for AMU admissions is online. Candidates can visit the official university website to submit their applications. In this step, candidates are required to upload scanned documents, photos, thumb impression and signature. The final step is to submit the course-specific application fee. This application process applies to the courses in which the AMU Entrance Exam score is required for admission. Candidates seeking admission to courses like BA (Hons/Research) in Hindi, Persian, Philosophy, etc. must apply and appear for CUET UG.
Step 2: Counselling
Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMU counselling. This can be done by visiting the university's official website and clicking on "Online Counselling/Admission Portal". Candidates who have appeared for the AMU Entrance Exam will have to log in using the credentials generated during the application process.
