Yes, AMU offers admission for UG courses based on NEET UG exam. Considering the Round 5 score for the General AI category, it is possible to get into Aligarh Muslim University at a cutoff rank of 7000. AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.
AMU BSc application process is conducted online. Interested candidates can visit the admission portal on the university's official website to submit their applications. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc specialisations where CUET UG is the selection criteria must separately apply for the entrance exam by visiting the exam portal on NTA's website. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMU counselling. This can be done by visiting the university's official website and clicking on "Online Counselling/Admission Portal". AMU MBBS cutoff 2025 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2025 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses.. AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Last Round seat allotment was 121762 for MBBS and 38852 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota. Aligarh Muslim University BA admission is a multi-step process. It starts with online application. For this, candidates can visit the university's admission portal on its official website. BA admission at the university is completely entrance-based. Hence, the next step is to appear for an entrance exam. Depending upon the BA specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. Based on the entrance exam scores, AMU will release a merit list of selected students. As a final step, selected students need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
