Is Aligarh University under CUET?

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.

What is the fees for AMU Entrance Exam?

The Aligarh Muslim University conducts AMU entrance exam to shortlist candidates for admission to various courses. The AMUEE application process is conducted online on the official website if the University. Aspirants need to pay AMU application fee to confirm their application submission. What is the AMUEEE application fee?

During AMUEEE registration, candidates will have to pay the fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. The AMUEEE application fee is INR 1050. Offline payments will not be accepted. The late fee is INR 1350.

Does Aligarh Muslim University students get equal opportunity to apply for scholarships?

Yes, all students are provided an equal opportunity to apply for scholarships. Some of the scholarships provided by the university are General Merit Scholarships (Donated), Mustafa Rasheed Sherwani Memorial Scholarship, Scholarships/Loan Awarded by Outside Agencies and Departments. Q: Who is eligible for admission at AMU?

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Q: Is AMU entrance exam compulsory for BBA at Aligarh Muslim University?

Yes, candidates who wish to apply for BBA admissions at AMU must appear for the AMU entrance exam to qualify. Unlike other UG level course admissions, AMU only accepts the scores of its inhouse written test to decide the admissions to the BBA course.

Review of Aligarh Muslim University.

Placements: More than 65% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting company was CPKA. The top roles offered were drafting and designing.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our department were the best. CAD laboratory and other laboratories related to our course were good. Library was average in this college. Classrooms were good, and Wi-Fi was enabled. As Aligarh Muslim University is the largest residential University in Asia, so the hostel was in good condition. The food services were the best. Canteens were cheap, and medical facilities were provided free for students but not more than 50,000.

Faculty: Teachers were well educated and dedicated. The teaching quality was A+. They were also supportive and helpful. Our course curriculum was highly relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were not very tough to pass because of the supporting teachers and high-quality teaching. The passing percentage was 40% for theory subjects, and 60% for practicals.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in architecture. Many small and big scholarships were provided to students to help them in their present and future studies.

To get a seat at AMU for the MBBS course, candidates must appear for the NEET UG entrance exam. Aspirants with a valid NEET UG score are then required to appear for the NEET UG counselling. Based on both the score and counselling, seat allotment will be announced for the students.
