
The University of Allahabad (AU) will share the exam pattern for LAT 2026 including subjects, weightage per section, marking scheme and other details along with the official notification. The law entrance exam will be conducted in pen-paper based test and online mode, as opted by the candidates. LAT 2026 Marking Scheme
The marking scheme will be done as under:
- 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer by candidates.
- No negative marking will be done in case of wrong attempts.
- No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted by the candidates.
- The overall scores will be evaluated on the basis of correct options marks by the candidates.

As per the university, candidates securing the marks as per their category will be considered qualified for admission:
