In the last round, the NLU Assam clat cutoff 2025 was 2141 for the BA LLB (Hons) and 2311 for admission to the LLM course. In the first round, the closing rank for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) programme was 1643, which was comparatively higher in the initial first round, as compared to the last round. The NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released for various All India and Home State quota categories. The cutoff was released as ranks for a total of 5 rounds. 

For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 1322 to 2049 for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. Hence, 2049 was the highest rank acceptable. 

On the other hand, for the General HS quota, the cutoff varied from 1563 to 3519. So, the rank attained should be lower than 3519.

Yes, NLU Assam accepts CLAT score. Candidates who are looking for degree course admission at National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam must have a valid CLAT score. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) began the CLAT 2025 Registration on July 15, 2025. Candidates can fill the CLAT Application Form 2025 until October 15, 2024. All interested candidates can fill out the CLAT Application Form 2025 by visiting the official website; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2025 Application fees must be paid by the candidates as mentioned in the CLAT Exam Notification. NLU Assam Cutoff 2025 for General HS Category

Now, let's talk about the CLAT category-wise cutoff details for students belonging to the Home State quota. As compared with the General AI quota, the CLAT cutoff ranks were relatively less competitive for admission under the Home State quota. For admission to the BA LLB (Hons) programme, the CLAT first and last round closing ranks were 2646 and 3128, respectively. 

At the postgraduate level, the university offers a two-year full-time LLM programme. In 2025, the maximum CLAT cutoff required for admission was 2541. For the students belonging to the OBC category, the maximum CLAT cutoff rank required for admission was 40275, including both UG and PG courses. At the UG level, the first-round clat cutoff 2025 for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course was 32829, while in the last round, the closing rank for the same stood at 40275. Q:   When will CLAT 2024 result be out for National Law University and Judicial Academy admission 2024?
A: 

For admission to NLU Assam for the LLB or LLM course, the result of CLAT 2024 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CLAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for NLU Assam admission via CLAT counselling and seat allotment.

CLAT 2024 result contains details like the candidate's overall and sectional scores, and merit rank. Those who will qualify CLAT 2024 by meeting the required minimum cutoff as per the merit list are called for counselling process for seat allotment.

Note that for admission to the 5-year LLB or LLM courses, the candidate will have to meet the CLAT 2024 cut-off in their respective category. The CLAT 2024 merit rank list will be shared at the time of admission and seat allotments. Candidates ranked higher in CLAT 2024 merit list will be given preference during the seat allotment process.

NLU Assam Cutoff 2025 for ST HS Category

NLU Assam LLM cutoff 2025 was 13961 in the first round, which further increased to 14171 in the last round, allowing more candidates to fight against the remaining seats in the final admission round.
