Scottish Church College - My Experience at one of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: Placements of BBA and B.Com vary from salary packages of 2.5-3 LPA. Top 10% of students get placements with 3-4 LPA. The remaining students are offered salary packages between 1.5-3LPA. In the previous year, 2 students got placed with a salary package of 6 LPA with placements in a political consultation company, which was the highest. Most of the Science students don't opt for placements. They go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The Science department laboratory is very good. The equipment is a bit old but they are maintained regularly. The infrastructure of the college is very good. It is a good college, and the buildings are well maintained. There are 3 hostels, one for girls, one for Boys, and one especially for the Christian students. The hostels are old but they are well-maintained. Each hostel has one faculty member assigned as hostel superintendent to supervise students.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Their teaching style is excellent, and they are very friendly. The university mainly decides the Exam and curriculum till this year, but it has become autonomous, now it will be decided by the college. As a student pov the exam schedule is bit disturbed, but the syllabus and curriculum are great, especially the Science subjects syllabus is well aligned for further examinations (eg., IIT JAM, CUET-PG, JEST TIFR, and other competition exams).

My college is good with good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: In my course, there are lot of opportunities. You can become teacher, lectures, and full sack developer. During my time, almost 70% of students got placements. The highest package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest package was 2 LPA. There were top companies like Wipro, TCS, Teach Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: There were labs, good classrooms and library. In hostel, 200 beds were available. It was very clean and food served was good. Medical facilities were also provided. There was a big playground in front of the college. You can play football, cricket whatever you want.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant, and it made students industry-ready. Semester exams were not so difficult if a student studied well. The student pass percentage was 80%.

5/5 for the best college in Kolkata to study.
Placements: Excellent college with huge opportunities and a very good environment in college. After the degree, there are high chances of placements coming to you. The placement percentage in my course is above 60 percent. The highest and the lowest salary in my course are Rs. 31,000- Rs. 42,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is very nice and I'm lucky that I'm studying in this college. It's very good for me, helping me a lot in this course through the teachers at the college. The library and classrooms are very hygienic. The environment and labs are fresh and very clean and help us to study more comfortably.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very well qualified for the subject. They give us lectures and they are very knowledgeable. The course is very relevant. Students are always welcome in industry. Semester exams are difficult for us but our teachers make us very well prepared for the exam. The passing percentage in exams is 25-30 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to do a CA and it's helping me from the start to study more. I would be happy if they opened a gym for the students. Events should be conducted because sometimes students also need some refreshment for the best outcome for them.

Best campus under University of Calcutta.
Placements: Campus placements are zero because companies do not come to our campus. That is why our campus placements are zero. But the value of the B.A. LL.B. degree is very good because Heritage Law College is affiliated with Calcutta University.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is very good. The classrooms have AC, and the library is very good. Hostels are available, but only for girls and not for boys. The hostel food is good, but the canteen food is of very good quality. The sports and games facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. This is a 5-year course, but the semester exams are tough. Achieving a great CGPA is very difficult in Calcutta University. The top CGPA is 8.5. Faculty at Heritage Law College is very good.

Goenka College is an abode of success with pillars of history.
Placements: As for B.Com, not many companies come here. The placement faculty has deteriorated compared to previous batches. Expectations for placements are very low. After B.Com, you can secure some internships, but a good placement offer might not be something you can expect much after B.Com.
Infrastructure: The building is old and has no renovation. The computer labs are not maintained, and the library is not maintained. There is no canteen. There is no hostel, so you need a PG to reside here. The campus is awful, with no regular cleaning and no proper maintenance. The classrooms are the same old ones, with no smart boards or anything.
Faculty: Teaching is good but lacks guidance. Professors might not always be helpful. There is a lack of practical exposure. Teachers are not interested in teaching what would actually help in a career, but rather what is given in books. Even if you ask, you won't get anything practical.
Other: There are no fests or events due to political influence. Not many events happen here now.

Top college of commerce in Kolkata, GCCBA.
Placements: About placements, the college provides them in the last year of completion of our degree. The placement opportunities are quite low but valuable. Companies like EY, Airtel, etc. come to offer placements. The package is around 4–5 LPA. However, if you are a bright student, you can expect more.
Infrastructure: Being a government college, the infrastructure is not that good. Basic amenities are available, like washrooms, classrooms, a common room, a lift, library, study room, and a ground. But private colleges provide more than this. For example, we don't have a games area. But if you're keen to study only, then it's a good place.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful in terms of guidance, completion of the syllabus, other information, studies, etc. They also take part with students to organise anything on campus and are all well-qualified, proficient professors who guide properly.
Other: GCCBA is considered the top college of commerce under CU in Kolkata. Having the lowest fees for a 4-year graduation, I think this college is too affordable for students who are passionate about getting a B.Com degree. Fests and all are quite regular in this college. You get to go to other campuses for inter-college dance competitions, etc. Overall, I love this college.
