CU offers an ME programme of two-year duration in more than 15 specialisations. Candidates must satisfy the below-mentioned eligibility criteria and qualify CUCET in order to secure Chandigarh University ME admission.
A few of the popular ME specialisations (nine) follow a common eligibility criteria which is a bachelorβs degree in a relevant field or equivalent with a minimum 55% aggregate (50% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category). These specialisations are as follows:

Chandigarh University ME+PhD Admission 2025
Apart from the general ME, the University also offers a ME+PhD programme for graduates. Candidates seeking admission to ME+PhD must have a valid GATE score or need to qualify CU PhD test.

Yes, students can get hostels at Chandigarh University. There are separate and safe hostels facilities are provided to all the male and female students. Candidates who wish to apply to courses BE (Bachelor of Engineering), BPharma, DPharm, MPharma (Pharmaceutics), MPharma (Pharmacology), MPharma (Industrial Pharmacy), MPharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), MBA, Integrated Law programs (BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB) and Integrated Law (LLM) must compulsorily appear for the entrance exam. Hence, Chandigarh University accepts CUCET scores and not CUET scores, which is completely different from CUCET.

For a B.Tech, I would personally choose LPU. In my experience, campus life, exposure, labs, and chances to take part in activities and projects have all been excellent.Β I believe LPU provides a more comprehensive B.Tech experience overall because there are many clubs and placement chances.

For BTech, the three are not exactly the same, but the core preparation overlaps heavily.
