Yes. The Non-GATE entrants can take admission with a valid Department Admission Test (DAT) score or ‘A and B’ exams score conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India). Candidates can apply for the DAT exam by visiting the CUSAT website.

Aspirants need to fill out the online form (admission.cusat.ac.in) and submit it for being eligible to take admission. However, the seat allotment for each M.Tech programme shall be on the applicant’s GATE score. Cochin University of Science and Technology admission to MSc programmes is based on the CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test) score. The entrance exam is conducted by the Directorate of Admissions.
