Best South Campus DU college.
Placements: Over 50 percent of students got placed with a CGPA. The attendance, and extracurriculars should be on point in their CV. Deloitte offers mass hiring in Audit (45 plus students) on average. The rest of the big names are Big4s and emerging startups which offer different roles but not mass hires.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure has been improved in the last 2 years. AC libraries with timings 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM are available. The hostel facility is not available but affordable rental PGs are available within walking distance (Sheikh Sarai). Canteen is very average but affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly 9/10 in terms of quality and qualifications. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready mostly for B.Com (Hons) and Economics Honours. Students are preferred during placements. Semester exams are up to the mark and internals are a priority.
Other: The fest culture inside college is negligible and the campus is academically driven with 67 percent attendance a major necessity in order to appear for the semester exams.

Good college: Gargi College.
Placements: The placement is quite decent. You will find companies which look mainly for a commerce background but rarely companies with a science background. Due to this, science students do not get much industry exposure. Only a few students apply for placement and out of them only a very small number of students get selected.
Infrastructure: The college campus is beautiful and has good infrastructure. No hostel facility so these students have to rely on PG or flat facilities which are quite expensive. There is Wi-Fi facility but it's very slow and sometimes there is a network issue in the college. A library and medical facility are available. The college canteen is quite decent and is affordable. Badminton, basketball, volleyball, cricket, bat, and ball are available. Even yoga mats are also available so if you want you may take and practice.
Faculty: The faculty is kind, humble, and understanding. You may solve your problems and clear your doubts with the teachers within or even after class if needed. The curriculum is based on NEP. There are semester-wise exams which are not very difficult if you study and attend class regularly.
Other: Gargi College is a complete girls' college so this makes a peaceful and safe environment. There are various societies where students can join and gain skills. The placement cell is also open to students. The college organises an annual fest along with cultural events and fests where students enjoy and have fun. There are academic workshops, conferences, and internships organised by the college. There are various scholarships for students to avail themselves of.

It is the best. It was a great experience. One should go for it.
Placements: Placements were so good. A lot of students got placed. Top companies like KPMG and Concentrix visit to hire. Overall, the placement cell can be rated as 10/10. Our placement cell was also cooperative. It was so nice and helpful. I had a great experience. It was a nice college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. The theme was based on the name itself. Classrooms had ACs and good-quality furniture. It also had 3-4 gardens to roam around. The cafeteria area was so big. I would give 5/5 to the infrastructure. It was a great experience to have.
Faculty: My teachers were so nice and cooperative. The experience was so good. One should join this college. They always helped us in projects, exams, and even in presentations. The senior staff was nice too. Our professors were too friendly and cooperative.
Other: Overall, it was a good college. They provided good infrastructure. I had quality time with friends. Teachers and staff were so cooperative. Overall, I had a great experience.

Review of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi offers placement opportunities to its students through the placement cell. The placement cell helps student in pursuing their careers in the area of their interest and provides entry into the industry by identifying the right student-organisation fit. The placement cell initiates the placements and invites of different organisations to our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: You walk into any classroom and you'll find ICT-enabled setup, and LED projectors. There are 2 hostels, one for boys and one for girls. They are well maintained with lush greenery. But food served may be average. Overall, everything is good.
Faculty: Our lecturers and professors actually know their subjects inside-out. Most faculty members are Ph.D. holders or NET-qualified, and many are from prestigious institutions like JNU. The course curriculum across all three streams Science, Commerce and Arts is structured, updated, and genuinely challenging. But what makes it work is the support system around it. "SRCC of South Campus" and for good reason. Beyond the classrooms, academic life at Venky extends into every corner of the campus. Departmental associations are extremely active in Economics, Science, and Commerce each running their own events, guest lectures, paper presentations, and exchange programs throughout the year.
Other: Venky has some of the most celebrated societies in the entire Delhi University circuit. Whether you're into dance, dramatics, music, filmmaking, debate, or finance, there's a place for you here. These societies don't just give you a hobby, they shape who you become. Then there's NEXUS Venky's legendary annual fest.

8/10 because the Certificate is very valuable and provides good exposure.
Placements: The students are taken to this college through the NEET exam. It is based on NEET rank. The fee costs around Rs. 25,000 per year and also Rs. 2,100 per month. The mess fee is for students staying in the hostel. About the recruitment, they are not giving any recruitment but it is a central government college and they provide practicals in a government hospital where you will get enough exposure to all departments especially medical-surgical, obstetrics, etc. We will get an internship in the last 6 months of the 4th year for Rs 13000 per month.
Infrastructure: There is a new as well as an old hostel and college building. Currently classes are going on in the new building and it's well structured. There is a lab available in the college for practising and also Wi-Fi is well established. The food is average. About the medical facilities there is a system for medical services if one gets sick. Sports and arts are also well encouraged and they are conducted every year.
Faculty: The teachers give lectures but self-study is also essential. We shouldn't expect much then it will be fine. Teachers are well educated. This curriculum is relevant and they are following the syllabus provided by the Indian Nursing Council. The exams are easy to moderate. The pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am looking for a job where I can stand on my own. The best thing is it is worldwide valuable, well-earning, and also it's very helpful for a female to build themself. The things I wish to improve are to get more organised with the work and assignments given to students. There is no such campus life or any extra activities. There will be a sports day where sports and arts are conducted. The good thing is that it's a nursing college but still a calm and peaceful environment.

Placements: Our batch has an amazing placement record this year. Almost 70% of the batch has been placed at good companies like PwC, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, and many others. The average package is around 4–5 LPA, while the highest package is around 8 LPA. Internships are offered in various roles. They are providing exposure to different domains.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is genuinely impressive. It features fully equipped modern labs and a great library with all the resources needed for enhanced learning. Hostel life is equally comfortable, with well maintained rooms and hygienic food served in the mess. We also have quick access to medical facilities and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, highly qualified. They always willing to clear doubts. The curriculum is up to date and prepares students for real-world problems. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If you study regularly, you can score good marks.

A:

Fee refund policy of Faculty of Law, DU is as follows:

  • If a student withdraws admission before the last date of admission, full refund of fee with a deduction of INR 5,000 is given to the student. Refunds are initiated after admissions close and processed within 3 months to the original payment source.
  • No refunds are given for withdrawals made after the last date.
  • Admission Fee is not refunded if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage.
  • Registration fee and withdrawal fee are non-refundable in any case.
Q:   How can I get admission in DU to pursue MA? I have completed BA from Punjabi University, Patiala.
A:

Delhi University MA admission till 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds are also conducted for admission to Delhi University MA programme. There is no minimum age limit to take admission to the MA programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA.

Q:   Is CUET fee revised?
A:

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on CUET 2026 notification PDF.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
