Delhi University MCom admission up until 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes. There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University.
Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA, MSc and MCom will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA. After the results, qualified students will be required to appear for the seat allocation process conducted by the university for final seat allotment.

Delhi University offers UG courses based on CUET UG exam. Based on the DU B.Com Hons. cutoff 2024, It is not possible to get into DU with 500 score as the cutoffs for all the affiliated colleges under Delhi University were comparatively above than the score of 500. Further, DU CUET UG cutoff 2024 ranged from 608 to 758 for the General AI category candidates for B.Com Hons. However, cutoffs can vary as per the courses, for some courses, it is below and for other, it is above. Delhi University offers UG and PG courses based on various exams including CAT. Considering the CAT result 2024, the needed rank for the candidates willing to get into DU for the PGDM course stood at 98. Similarly, the sectional cutoff stood at 50 for the general category candidates.
For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:
- Program-Specific merit
- Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
- Availability of seats
- Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
Graduation is the minimum qualification required for DU LLM programme. Below is detailed eligibility for LLM:
- Aspirants need to complete a three or five-year LLB degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognised as equivalent by DU with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for OBC-NCL/ PwD/ CW and 40% aggregate for SC/ ST) or equivalent can apply for LLM course.
- Candidates securing the marks prescribed above or appearing in the qualifying degree examination or awaiting the results of any such examination are eligible to appear in the LLM Entrance Test but the admission will depend on their securing the minimum eligibility marks prescribed above.
Delhi University offers hostels to both male and female students. As per the information on web, the university allocates hostel to students based on their merit. The university considers the academic performance of the students and availability of seats for providing hostel. The university also considers factors such as distance from the university, disability, and financial need in allocating hostels to students. Besides, If a students fails in any semester, hostel facility is discarded. Almost all the hostels start their registration process in end of June or first week of July.

DU MCom FAQs
The admission process for MCom at Delhi University up until 2021 was offered across two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes.
There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. For admission to PG courses at the University of Delhi, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG. Check CUET PG application process in detail
Followed by the application forms of CUET PG, DU will began the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualify the exams. The process will begin after the release of CUET-UG and CUET-PG results which are expected to release in July.
All the Unreserved category candidates who seek admission to MCom at DU are required to apply for CUET PG exam. Candidates can apply for three papers and the application fees are given in the following table:

After the declaration of CUET (UG) results by NTA, the University of Delhi opened a preference-filling phase on its official website. Candidates are required to login on their CSAS (UG) dashboard to choose the courses they are willing to take admission if allocated. Candidates must give their preference for the course + college for every UG course selected by them.
For filling the preferences of course & college combinations in which they are willing to take admission, they must do the following:
- Choose multiple course + college combinations (It is in the best interest of the candidate to fill the maximum number of preferences)
- Take utmost care while selecting the course + college combinations as the order of selection will also determine the preference order.
- Reorder the preferences to prioritize the preference order of course + college combinations
- The submitted preference order will determine the allocation of seat
Candidate must confirm their order of preferences for the course + college combinations by clicking on 'Submit' cutton on/ before the last day of the preference-filling. It is important to note - Editing the course + college combination preference list after the deadline of preference-filling will not be allowed.
