Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: There are my friends who have been selected for the Times of India editor, in Tata Power, in Wipro, and in Hitachi. There are many other opportunities, such as being the president of the department and representing your college in almost all the universities in Delhi.
Infrastructure: The hostel is fully safe and secure for girls as they have the best staff to ensure the security of all girls staying there, in every field, like health, food, education, and entertainment. The best part is that the campus is surrounded by the serene beauty of nature with the wonderful voices of peacocks.
Faculty: From my point of view, my course teachers are the best in the college, as I was totally new to the subject of sociology, and they just taught it like a cake walk. The assignments and field work arranged by them gave us the opportunity to observe the society more closely.
Other: I'm a graduate of 2025, B.A. Hons Sociology. The department's fest is the best, and the seminars conducted by the teachers are very knowledgeable. The teachers are highly professional in their subjects.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2028
Offered by Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi

We have a balanced academic and campus life experience.
Placements: I am a part of the 28-29 batch pursuing the English Honours Course. The placement opportunities are average or decent at best for students who are consistent. The internship opportunities are more than decent. Around 50-60 percent of students get recruited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Some parts of the college do require some improvements, like washrooms, and they are not as good as they should be. Considering it is a girls' college, facilities for sanitary items should be available, but machines are almost always empty. The canteen feels very small and can get very overcrowded.
Faculty: The English department is very good. Teachers are always ready to help with any queries students have. They are very accessible and helpful. The course curriculum is nice, but it feels old. New changes should be brought in light of the modern world, but the introduction of VAC and SEC courses through NEP shows that we are headed in that direction. Exams are held once between the semesters and once at the end, which is reasonable. Continuous assessment, presentations, etc., do keep on happening between those making learning interactive and interesting.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my future career. It is a very holistic course that offers us the insight to perceive the world of literature through many aspects. I do wish that the course did not just stick to the old novels, which are very famous. It also includes novels from the contemporary period. College life is pretty active with events happening every day. There are also events on a bigger scale during festivals.

B.Sc. in Physical Science (Chemistry) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi

Our college is good, but it needs to improve basic facilities like labs and canteens.
Placements: I am a student of B.Sc. in Physical Science, and we did not get so many opportunities to get placements. In our degree, there is one chance as we have to do a masters in any subject from Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. The course is not as great as honours, but if we do 4 4-year degree, we will automatically get an honours degree.
Infrastructure: The college campus is good and cozy. Some areas like labs and canteen always get filled with. In the canteen, no hygiene is followed. The Ops labs are getting worse due to trapped water near the entry door, and it fills the water inside during the rainy season.
Other: I chose this college because of the NCC air wing. Every fest is celebrated warmly and happily. Students get a lot of options after completing graduation. After our degree, we can do a master's degree in any of the subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

Good infrastructure and great faculty.
Placements: Coming from a humanities department, I don't have much knowledge about the placements, but my seniors have really good experience with them. Students get a lot of opportunities for internships in student life itself, and great experience and great teaching.
Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi available, and the classrooms are big. There is no problem in handling things for students. Only sometimes, during rush hours at college, there can be a shortage of seats, but the faculty manages it really well. Hostel food is great and offers diverse food. Not just hostel, but the canteen and PAM give great food. Hygiene is maintained and is of great quality. Some things can be a little pricy for students.
Faculty: Teachers are great and provide all sorts of support, clearing doubts, and everything provides great knowledge. I'm giving my exams right now, and exams seem great and give us knowledge about the depth of our syllabus, and exams will surely turn out great as teachers taught us really well.
Other: I chose this course as I love the subjects. Also, not just studies, but events in college are great too. There is no campus life as such in terms of fests. The overall crowd is good inside the college, but the surroundings are not good. The campus crowd is high, and we get a lot of competition, but still, lovely people. I found great friendships here.

Miranda House, Delhi University.
Placements: It is a great course. It has great placements too. It has a cell that connects with great companies like DE Shaw, ICICI for roles in consulting, IT, and more, offering a good package with strong recruitment in commerce, economics and computer science, plus the support for higher education is great.
Infrastructure: I think that the infrastructure is a bit old, and there hasn't been really any renovation. There is a great library. The canteen is really good with 4 options, where each canteen serves different options. Sports facilities are good too, but need rebrushing.
Faculty: Very qualified teachers are there. I believe that every professor recruited is more than capable with a diverse teaching style. They teach you beyond the reading and help you find what you wish to do and pursue further. The exams are tough and hard, but great too.
Other: It's a great place.

B.Voc. in Retail Management and IT - Batch of 2028
Offered by Jesus and Mary College ,University of Delhi
2.6
2Placements4Infrastructure2Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
This college and faculty are really nice. Placement is decent, and the infrastructure is the best.
Placements: Since retail management and IT implementation in NEP, it doesn't have much of a record. It is a very expensive course and is not worth the cost. It has a separate placement cell, yet the course itself is too weak to provide any placements to the students. On the website, it's been said that it's a practical subject and job-oriented, but that's a lie. The only thing you do here is make assignments and mug up chapters just like any other theoretical subjects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of JMC is 10 on 10. Very nice ventilated classrooms. Great ecosystem, and in all seasons, the environment supports it well. The library is followed by the ground floor and 1st floor, which is not a great space, it gets too crowded. The canteen of this college is the worst place, too expensive, too hygienic, and has no taste in food.
Faculty: Faculty is nice, but I think the problem is with the course. The course curriculum needs some relevant implementation. Exams of this particular course are also a joke, with very easy repetitive questions. That's why this course really needs some changes in its curriculum.
