It is a great university situated in the foothills of Mussoorie.

Placements: 75% of the students were placed, but the packages weren’t that good. For example, Accenture came for the recruitment process and was offering 3-4 LPA, whereas other colleges offered 10-12 LPA. Hence, the package isn’t very attractive. The highest package was 42 Lacs, while the average package is 3-4 Lacs. B.Tech in CSE and IT received many offers, mainly in sales roles.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere, though it doesn’t always work well. The library is grand, and all required books are available; it is also air-conditioned. Classrooms can feel very hot during the summer. The hostel is decent, though it can feel suffocating; the food is not that great. It’s neither hygienic nor tasty.

Faculty: Sometimes professors can be a little rude and disrespectful. The curriculum is great, though the faculty is not that experienced in how students should be taught. The level of difficulty of exams is rising day by day. The pass percentage is 30/100.

The placement is good in 2023, with really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed; the highest package is 27 lacs and the lowest package is 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Tata, and many more. Students do not get any kind of internship directly from the college, so the number is very low. Roles offered are sales manager, software engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the hostel for 24 hours. Mess food quality is not so good, especially dinner, which is the worst. Medical facilities are also not good; they can be only for the occasional cough and could not be for any serious problem. The gym is available in the hostel, but not for any other sports.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are good and helpful; they are genuine with the students. The curriculum is quite good; it makes the students industry-ready. There are two exams conducted in every semester: the midterm exam and the endterm exam. It is moderately difficult to pass the exam.

Other: I chose B.Tech because it has good campus placement.

Our college has very good environment and helpful seniors.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed on campus or off-campus. IBM, Infosys, Optum, Byjus, and TCS are top recruiters. Around 55-75% of students get internships in our college. The highest salary package offered in our course is 25 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college has made much investment in modern, safe, and secure accommodation designed to the highest standard. On-campus residences with their modern en-suite rooms make students a breeze. Hostels in our college are like home. It provides comfortable and a congenial environment to pursue studies. Hostel rooms are well-ventilated and adequately furnished with a separate box, bed, mattress, study table, chair, and wardrobe for every student. Rooms are designed like an apartment with adequate toilets. The boys' hostel can accommodate 1,200 boys and the girls' hostel can accommodate 1,000 girls. There are modern and well-equipped kitchens and dining halls where food is cooked and served in clean and hygienic conditions. Our dining halls can serve 600 boys and 400 girls at a time. Pest control services are utilised for pest-free surroundings. Purified cold and warm water is provided to the students. The weekly menu is well-planned in consultation with students. The mess committee provides various nutritious and wholesome food to the students. Special meals are served during festivals.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Teachers in our college are knowledgeable and helpful. Exams are not difficult but the grading system is difficult so it is difficult to maintain more than an 8 CGPA. The pass percentage is 40%. There are many clubs for students who are weak in any subject.

Other: I chose this course because of my eligibility criteria. The best thing about our course is it has the same placements compared to computer science.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and the strictness.

Placements: There were good placements from the campus. But the package was very low. Also, the companies that come gives mass recruitments. No big companies like Google come here. I don't think so that there is any job in future for our generation. The highest package was given by Amazon of 24 LPA, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The university is so good that you feel like you are in heaven because it is located in the mountains and the best thing about the college is the well-managed buildings. The architecture is nicely planned. The only problem with this university is that its area is not much like that of other universities.

Faculty: What I can tell about faculty members. Stone of them are good, and stone of them are really bad. They don't even give notes to the students. I think my college has at least 940 faculty members and teaching quality is not good at all. Many teachers also don't know that what is going on in the class.

Other: Only one fest per year is organised called Youthopia, which is not good.

DIT - IMAGINE ASPIRE ACHIEVE

Placements: DIT provides ample opportunities for placements. I myself believe the college give more employment than any other colleges. The average package being 4.5 lacs to the highest package of 25 lacs given by various companies. This time, more than 150 students got placed in various companies i.e. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Byzu App, etc.

Infrastructure: The college provides an excellent infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi on each floor, various classes and a seminar hall for every branch. The college has two libraries, one at the Vedanta and the other at the civil block i.e. Vishwasarya. DIT also has open theatre and a basketball court too. The college has provided various food trucks in open, a cafe at Vedanta, and a mess at each hostel. The college has also given a lift facility to both students as well as faculty members. All the labs are well-maintained in the college.

Faculty: DIT has provided the best mentors cum teachers to its students. Every teacher is highly qualified and knowledgeable. For every subject, the college has provided tutorial class where one can clear doubts. Teachers also use projectors to teach. The course curriculum is useful.

Other: DIT is one of the best colleges as it has given various talents. It takes out the hidden quality of student. From academic to cultural to sports, DIT has given every chance to students to grow. As its motto says IMAGINE ASPIRE ACHIEVE. DIT is the name of excellence.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placement.

Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed in my course. Companies like Palo Alto and others recruit for our course. Many roles are offered, such as software developer, artificial intelligence specialist, etc. The highest package is above 50 LPA, the average package is 12 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3–4 LPA. Around 60 percent of students get internships from my course in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Palo Alto, and others.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department are good. There is Wi-Fi in every building, and labs are well-furnished with enough desktops to work on. Labs have AC and smart boards. Classrooms are also well furnished with very good furniture and smart boards in every room. The library has AC, iPads, and Apple computers for students. Books for every course are available in the library, along with additional fictional books and religious books. Hostel food is good.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, not all, but some are very nice. Teachers are well-qualified. They have very good knowledge of their subjects, meaning they are very knowledgeable. The curriculum of our course is good, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not very easy. The passing percentage of students is 70 percent.

Other: In this college, there are not many fests organized. There is only one fest named Youthopia and one sports event named Sphurti. These two events are organized very nicely. The campus crowd is good, and connectivity on our campus is also nice. There are many clubs in our college for extracurricular activities.

In this college students are successful in life.

Placements: In my college 95 percentage student is placed with good package. Minimum package is 6 Lacs but many students got placed in10 Lacs. It is very good college for student who want to succeed in his life. I recommended to students who want to succeed in his life .

Infrastructure: Many facilities is given by the hostel. In my hostel food is served excellent. Gym, Wi-Fi, library are also provided in hostel. Infrastructure are excellent. I have recommended those students who will be able to get a job and want to succeed in luxurious life.

Faculty: The facility are provided good knowledge to students. All teacher in my college are very high educated. Many teachers are come from IIT college. Teacher are very good and supporting. All teacher are explained very clearly to students who do not understand properly .

Other: I have interested in computer coding programme. So I choose this course.
