Delhi University MCom admission up until 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes. There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University.
Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA, MSc and MCom will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA. After the results, qualified students will be required to appear for the seat allocation process conducted by the university for final seat allotment.
Yes, DU provides good placements to its students annually. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has placed 1,095 students of batch 2026 with an average package of INR 13.79 LPA. Students from Hansraj College secured 130 job offers with an average package of INR 9.6 LPA. Median package recorded at INR 8.4 LPA. Highest package of Delhi University (FMS Delhi) recorded in 2026 stood at INR 1.1 Cr per annum. SRCC and LSR students achieved this highest package of INR 36.25 LPA.
No, candidates cannot take direct admission in Delhi University. The university offers admission into UG and PG programmes based on scores achieved in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. Candidates need to register and counsel through the university's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

Delhi University admission 2026 are now closed for the UG programmes. The DU CSAS_UG counselling process is has now concluded.
Candidates wishing to get admission in UG and PG courses at Delhi University have to qualify CUET exam. Applicants need to register and counsel through the university's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores for candidates who seek admission.
Candidates will not be granted admission on the basis of merit of Class 12 There are some percentage criteria required to appear for the CUET exam for Class 12 candidates which is given below:
- Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream to take admission to bachelor's degree programmes in the central, state, private or deemed universities.
- For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET exam. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.
Morever, candidates who wish to apply for Delhi University must have a valid score in CUET. Undergraduate courses including BCom, BTech, BA, BSc and more are offered by the affiliated colleges.
DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

SRCC Fees ranges between INR 87,735 to INR 3.2 lakh for the entire tuition fee depending upon the chosen course and specialisation. The total tuition fee for both BA (Hons) & BCom (Hons) is INR 87.73k. For PG Diploma courses, the fee is INR 3.2 lakh.

No, teachers in this institute are highly biased like Mr Das . he mistreats female students and prefer only buttering and Bengalis. so it's better not to destroy your career in this worthless institute if you are Hard working.

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.
LPU is a good option if you want modern infrastructure, a diverse campus, practical learning, internships, and placement support. But the decision is yours,
