GGSIPU Admission 2025: Last Date, Courses, Eligibility, Fee, Application Form

For most of the courses, IPU course admission is entrance-based. Before applying to a course, aspirants must check out the course-specific eligibility requirements. The university conducts IPU CET for admission to various courses. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU UG, PG and PhD courses must follow the steps given below:

IPU application process 2025 for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. Visit www.ipu.ac.in and click on the 'Admission Now' button:

1. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

2. Select the programme and enter the required details. Select whether to opt via CET or Non CET.

3. Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

4. In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

5. Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Step 2: Reporting for IPU CET

After registration for CETs, the E-admit card will be available on the official website of GGSIPU. Candidates are requested to appear for their advised allotted examination centre on or before reporting time as mentioned in the e-admit card. For regular admission-related updates, candidates should regularly visit the GGSIPU website.

Step 3: Preparation of CET Merit List & Counselling

GGSIPU merit list is prepared based on inter-se merit for candidates obtaining equal marks shall be decided on the basis of age, that is, the candidate older in age shall rank higher. Eligible candidates are then called for a counselling round. The list of selected students for the counselling round will be displayed on the University's Website one week prior to the commencement of counselling. Allotment of seats to the candidates will be made only when he/ she attends the counselling session in person. A candidate who is allotted a seat needs to pay the required fee immediately on the spot at the time of counselling for admission.

Step 4: Reporting & Document Verification for Admission

Based on the counselling round of CET, students are then requested to report personally for admission and document verification and submission.

What is the IPU CUET Counselling Process 2025?

Other than CET, GGSIPU also accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, take CUET-UG, and for PG courses, take CUET-PG. Once the seats are exhausted. IPU conducts counselling in online and offline modes. The counselling process for IPU admission through CUET is explained below:

STEP 1: Register for Counselling

Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration.

STEP 2: Login & Enrol

Login with the ID and password generated during registration to fill out the application. The IPU counselling processing fee is INR 1,000, which has to be paid during the enrolment for participation in the counselling procedure after registration. Fill in the details as asked and take a printout of the form and fee receipt. Document verification is carried out in online mode based on information provided by the candidate during enrolment.

STEP 3: Choice Filling/Preference Sheet

The preference sheet can be downloaded from the GGSIPU brochure. For online mode, candidates will have to visit the university's official website. It must be noted that the preference sheet is valid for only one counselling round. Hence, for each round, a new preference sheet must be filled out for each counselling round.

STEP 4: Allocation of Seats

After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region.

To be noted:

• For the open house counselling, the candidate must produce eligibility criteria (including all documents/mark sheets) at the time of counselling. This may vary for some courses.
• The counselling procedure mentioned above is as per the details mentioned in the official brochure. However, the proper IPU CUET counselling process will be mentioned in an official notification that the university will release on its official website.
• On the day of admission/counselling, candidates must take a decision on the spot and no further time shall be given by the university.

IPU Fees 2025: Affordability & ROI

IPU fee include different components like tuition fees, hostel fees, security deposit, library fees, and more. The fee payment can be done annually or semester-wise. IPU reserves some of the seats in the courses for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The reserved categories are SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Defence/Army/Minority.
