Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) - East Delhi Campus is an institution that has received an acceptance rating in the tier two category in India. It is known for its quality education and has a high recognition primarily in courses related to engineering and management. Still, such institutions attract more prestige than GGSIPU in the case of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) or Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). On the other hand, GGSIPU has decent academic programs, students’ placements and infrastructure hence, it becomes a decent option for those children who want quality education in Delhi without looking into the considerably more difficult admission procedures of the Tier 1 schools.

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU CET exam 2025 application forms for other courses, open tentatively in March every year. Apart from conducting IPU CET, GGSIPU also accepts several national-level entrance exams to provide admission to a few undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. 

The IPU CET 2025 applications are now closed. IPU CET 2025 exams was conducted from Apr 26 to May 18, 2025. IPU applications for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. The admission for GGSIPU are likely to open soon for 2026 session.
