GGSIPU B.Ed Courses & Fee 2025: Admission, Eligibility & Seats, Application Process

IP University admission to the B.Ed programme is entrance based. Shortlisted students go through a counselling round. The admission process is as follows:

1. GGSIPU B.Ed Application Process 2025

The application procedure is compeleted in online mode. Fulfill the eligibility criteria for admissions.

1. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in). Click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag down menu.

2. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration.

3. Select B.Ed from the programme drop-down menu and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because B.Ed comes under the 'CET' category courses.

4. Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

5. Enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

6. Fill in the details such as the year of passing and the school/ institution attended.

7. Upload the documents and pay the application fee (INR 1,500) via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of the documents while filling IPU application form:

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Date of birth certificate
• Caste/ category certificate
• Candidate's passport size photograph
• Candidate's signature
• Candidate's thumb impression
• Government approved photo ID card

2. Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List

In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on applicants' scores in the respective entrance examinations. A cutoff list is prepared to declare the minimum score required for selection.

3. Counselling

Candidates with scores equal to or more than the cutoff can participate in the counselling round. The document verification and seat allotment is carried out in the round of counselling. The counselling schedule is published on the university's official website.

4. Admission Confirmation

The candidates selected after all the selection rounds need to pay the required admission fee for seat allotment.
