For those who are interested in a B.Sc. from HNB Garhwal University.

Placements: I am still undergraduate and in behalf of my experience in the college I know that for placement many small and also some named companies comes to check the skilled students and also college send us on other colleges trip or universities to know more about how the world works and what we have to do to improve our future. But some students do not focus on these things because they have other goals to achieve, and that's why the university facilities also support them for these things if students are concerned about them and ask for assistance.

Infrastructure: I give 4 star rating because I didn't know much about the hostel, but as a student, I know about the facilities and infrastructure for a course, which is better because the professors do not leave any class. Library is also very good, as there are many books and separate reading rooms for students. As for labs, there are labs for every subject except some which don't need that, and also, there is currently chemistry lab that is building new but they manage to teach us in other labs.

Faculty: Teachers are very skilled and also make every effort to teach us their respective subjects. They also make groups on WhatsApp where they send all the important notes to assist us with our examinations. The course B.Sc. is also average because B.Sc. is a basic-level course, but any other courses are above average.

Other: This course is only for getting a degree through which I can prepare for my future jobs, and also, this is important to become a teacher after doing B.Ed next to this. There are also many curriculum activities in this university regarding competition to sharpen others' skills.

An average college with good teachers is dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: About 30% of students got placed, and the rest go for higher studies. The average package offered was 2.4 LPA. Placements were mainly in basic pharma companies and educational institutions. Approximately 20% of students got internships. The top roles offered were in technical support and administration.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were not very good. They included Wi-Fi and two labs. Classrooms were not very good. The library was okay. The quality of food was not very good. The medical facilities were also just okay. Sports and games competitions were held annually, which helped in overall growth.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. But, some of them were not very effective and did not want to help either. The course curriculum was relevant to subjects. Students were ready for industrial purposes, but pursuing higher studies was more beneficial.

Infrastructure is really good, but studies vary from course to course.

Placements: There is a great strength of students in the BSc course,and there is a very average internship offered by the course. Almost 15 to 20 percent got internships very hard. If you are pursuing your degree and also performing another task, it's good, but if you are very dedicated to your BSc, I suggest you skip college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well. There are two campuses: one is Birla and the other is Chaurasia. Birla campus is average, but Chaurasia is a very great campus in infrastructure and also in studies. Mostly, faculty talks in their native language, Gaddali, and also they don’t understand English properly.

Faculty: Faculty is manageable ,but it’s not really very well. Although they don’t disturb you, sometimes they don’t behave well . I’d prefer you to pursue your master’s degree and some courses special such as pharmacy or yoga . It's a good college, but not the best college.

Other: Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts are not suggested from my side, although the college is good for a master’s degree and some other special courses such as B.Pharma.

HNBGU is the only central university in Uttarakhand with a NAAC-A grade.

Placements: I am a student in B.Sc. Maths Group. There is no placement cell. If you want to get placements in B.Sc. , please choose another college. If you want to do only graduation, then you can choose this university.

Infrastructure: Labs, the library, classrooms, the campus area, and parking lots are neat and clean. They are well maintained. Girls' and boys' hostels are available. There is no canteen. There are two blocks, i.e., arts block and sceince block. The campus is located in a beautiful place. You can see the Himalayas from there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some of them only do their jobs. They are not serious about our future. Semester exams are easy. They ask repeated questions every year. If you are weak in studies, you can get SJ Notes, which are available in the market. In the first year, many students may not know how to prepare for exams, so they can approach their seniors.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a lecturer. I chose this college because it is near my home.

Good infrastructure and good management.

Placements: Like 20 to 80% of students get placed in our course. The highest package in our course is 14 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro, both of which are good companies. Around 30 to 40% of students get internships from Wipro and TCS.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available for every student in the college, and it is free as well. The library is available on every campus, in the Birla campus, there is one study room where students only study and one central library where both books and seats are available for every student of the college.

Faculty: Faculty arrange exams on time in our course. There are 6 semesters and exams mostly happen in June and January. Classes are regular, and teachers consistently come for teaching. Professors and Ph.D. scholars come to teach us. Exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is around 70 to 90%.

Other: I am interested in Maths and Science, that’s why I chose this course. If teachers integrate teaching with technology, it will improve learning more. Fests and annual functions are also organized in our college.
