The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology placement package offered to BTech batch 2019-23 is presented in the table below: 

Out of 130 BTech students in the batch 2019-23, 81 were eligible for ISRO absorption. Further, 38 Non-ISRO placement/ full-time offers were made. IIST Trivandrum cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the M.Tech specialisations on the basis of GATE scores. The last round closing scores varied between 350 and 461 for the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 286 and 496. Candidates who have a valid score in the JEE Advanced and JEE Main exams are eligible for both the BTech and BTech+Mtech degree at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates are required to qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate from a recognised institution (The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%). Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

 IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers BTech at undergraduate level for four years. The programme is offered under two specialisations: Aerospace Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering (Avionics).
