IIT Delhi MTech admission is subject to fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. According to the eligibility criteria, the minimum marks required in graduation is 60%. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% is not eligible to apply for MTech admission at the institute. They can go for other colleges offering the course. Students seeking admission to BDes course (Bachelor of Design) at IIT Delhi are required to sit for UCEED exam 2023. UCEED releases qualifying cutoff in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Delhi BDes courses.
Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Delhi.

No, admission to the IIT Delhi courses is entrance-based, except for PG Diploma course. There is no provision for direct admission. However, for IIT Delhi MTech admission, the institute offers direct admission to candidates with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10. No, IIT Delhi has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. There are no co-ed hostels. The institute has no tolerance policy for the same. Boys can only visit the girls' hostel visitor’s room and vice-versa. On house days, the institute may allow students to visit other hostels.

Admission to IIT Delhi BTech courses is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The MSc courses at IIT Delhi are not available for direct admissions. IIT Delhi MSc admissions are decided by the performance of a candidate in the IIT JAM entrance exam. Only candidates who secure appropriate ranks in the IIT JAM entrance exam are given seat allotcation during the CCMN counseling.
