Great Platform To Expose Your Talent.
Placements: 80% of students placed in this course. The highest - 6,00,000 and the lowest package - 1,50,000 and the average package is 4,50,000 per annum. Amazon, Home Shop18, 9XM, ScoopWhoop, and many more. 70 per cent of students got internships in the above-mentioned companies. Anchors, Camera Persons, PRO, Copywriters, Media Planners, Advertisement campaign creators, Content writers, etc.
Infrastructure: All kinds of amenities and facilities with proper equipment are there. Wi-Fi, Proper library, PC systems, Smart Class, Projectors, and CCTV cameras, etc. Hostels are well infrastructure, good to live, food quality is good too and mess is hygiene maintained, medical facilities are 24*7, and enough sports & games for entertainment and relaxation.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough. Teaching quality is up to the mark. The course is absolutely curriculum relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy for those who pay attention and tough for those who don't take classes seriously. The passing percentage are 60%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have keen interest in Journalism and public speaking. More practical classes would be great to start. The university organises a lot of events and fest that boom students' enthusiasm and creativity.

I am dissatisfied because of the course structure.
Placements: I won't recommend this college for education. They need to work on hiring faculty members. We were not even taught about radio being in journalism. There are no proper cameras. There is a lot of politics on campus, and they don't provide any placements. If you want better education, then I suggest opting for other colleges.
Infrastructure: It is not a good college. Hostels are worthless in LPU. They serve good food in the first week, but later, it is the worst. Security guards on the campus also do politics with you if you are not a Punjabi.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college have improved in 2020. I wish I could have taken my admission later. The new HOD is good. The BJMC department needs to improve a lot. All the good faculty members resigned in 2018. We were not taught according to the course structure.

I suggest you join this college because it provides a lot of exposure and opportunities.
Placements: Placements in our college are not so good. You have to find placements on your own. About 99% of the students find a job on their own, and some are still unemployed. The problem here was companies do not visit our college for this field placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is super and beautiful. LPU is one of the most mega universities in India. The hostel rooms are hygienic and huge. Food served in the mess is very bad.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum was extraordinary because I think the students of our branch are very creative and front minded. You will see the famed students from the journalism department.
Other: The campus is the only thing, which makes LPU the best in the town. The campus life is not less than any foreign lifestyle.

A perfect university for media studies.
Placements: There were number of companies which visited in our campus and number of students got placed into some top brands too. Most of the registered students got placed and ample companies for print media, digital media and electronic media were invited in the campus.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi for every student. All the major departments has their own library while there is one central library too. Great hostel facilities with mess options available in the university campus only. All the classes are equipped with Air conditioners.
Faculty: Ample resources and great study material included in the curriculum. The faculty members teach through PPTs and live examples. Cameras, audio editing labs and video editing labs are also available in the campus for the media and mass communication students .
Other: Great fests are being organized for the students to showcase the skills.

Best college life you can experience here, placements are nice too.
Placements: Journalism placements are not that good whereas MBA and B.Tech placements are nice. No use of doing journalism from here, if you really want a career in journalism and mass communication. Go for other courses in this college but not journalism. College ambiance is nice though.
Infrastructure: Awesome infrastructure, its a small world in itself, you have everything inside the campus itself the best food joints, kiosks, mall, go karting balling, and even Dominos? Hostel rooms are very nice, even classes are good too, central library is the place you could pass whole day in.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and nice, course curriculum is good too but the course teachers are changed very rapidly at least what we experienced at our time. Teachers are very much helpful and knowledgeable, the student-faculty ratio is around 1teacher:70 students.
