A geniune feedback on NIRF 9.
Placements: The mechanical engineering department is one of the oldest and most recognized departments not only in NITT but also in the country. It offers decent placement figures, such as the highest package is 35 LPA, the average package is 12.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Placement percentage is 93%. Most of the students get recruited in companies such as Caterpillar, L&T, DRDO, NTPC, BHEL, Texas Instruments, Oracle, Samsung, Google, TATA, Mahindra, etc. The roles that they get are Design, Management, Consultancy, and mostly Core Engineering.
Infrastructure: The hostels are decent but not up to the mark if we consider the feels. It has all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, TV, Water Coolers, Geysers, Washing Machines etc. There are 5 messes to choose from second year onwards and food in each mess depends upon caterer. Most of the food served is good just the thing lagging is the cleanliness of the mess and punctuality.
Faculty: Professors here are masters of their field and have a vast knowledge of the work they do. Many are very helpful and supportive, so you can approach them anytime during working hours. The course curriculum followed is now as per NEP 2020, which started from the 2024 batch, and it contains a lot of flexibility for students to choose the subjects they like. The exams are a bit tough, but are manageable with 3 days of study before the exam.
Other: I chose the course due to my passion for automobile engineering and wanted to explore my career in this field. NITT provides an excellent opportunity to develop the required knowledge in every field due to its diverse club culture. There is a club for everything, whether it's robotics or ATV building. The crowd here is very competitive, and everyone actively participates in campus activities, guest, and Sports. You can get many scholarship opportunities here at NITT.

Review of NITT.
Placements: As I am studying in 1st year, I haven't talked with our super seniors completely, but I asked once, and they told me that placements in our college in the last year were terrible compared to other years. The highest is 32 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Axiom OI. I have no idea.
Infrastructure: We have no Wi-Fi, in addition, we have jammers to block the network. Labs are well-designed and maintained properly. Classrooms are good with projectors, including a clean board, and also have nice air flow through windows. It is very comfortable. The library is also good with books. They got more books than any college after Githam.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to us and they have nice qualifications and are very friendly when teaching us, and they also help us in lab practicals very well. Our course curriculum is fully relevant, and it does help in keeping students industry-ready. Exams are tough, but you could pass if you study well. I don't know about the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course out of pure passion for being a chip designer, and the best thing about our course is the course itself. If the faculty of the 1st year goes easy on us in labs, then it would be a great help for us to improve. Events are indeed well-maintained, and I love the annual day.

Comprehensive academic and campus experience at NIT Trichy.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed in the mechanical engineering department at NIT Trichy. The highest salary package varies depending on individual skills, while the average salary package offered is around 12 LPA. Top recruiters for mechanical engineering include Aricent, Ashok Leyland, Honeywell, Infosys, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Samsung, Volvo, Wipro, and Yahoo. Approximately 25% of students secure internships with organizations like Bajaj, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: Our labs and classrooms are well-maintained and sufficient for the batch. The library is clean and well-organized. Books are arranged systematically. Hostel facilities include Wi-Fi, water coolers, elevator, study tables, beds, fans, etc. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are excellent. Students can participate in various games and sports with dedicated grounds and facilities available for each.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and have excellent knowledge in their respective domains. The teaching quality is outstanding. The course curriculum is well-structured and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are manageable, and one week of preparation before the end-semester exams is usually sufficient. The overall passing marks depend on the professor but are typically around 35%.

My journey in NIT Trichy.
Placements: Placements are excellent in our college. The college provides the highest package of INR 44 LPA. It offers a median salary of INR 8 to 10.10 from the last 2 years. Top visiting companies in our college include Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Qualcomm, L&T, Samsung, Paytm, etc.
Infrastructure: Likewise, placements, infrastructure is also very awesome in NIT Trichy. NIT Trichy has a very eco-friendly campus of nearly 400 acres. The college charges Rs. 1,25,000 per annum, but after getting scholarships and discounts, it may come down to 30k per annum.
Faculty: NIT Trichy has more than 200 faculty members who are from very well-known institutions like top IITs, BITS Pilani, Anna University, etc. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:12 to 15, which is good enough. The curriculum covers all the fundamentals of engineering and Science domain.

Best college of my life .
Placements: All students got placed in my batch in core and non core branch in mechanical. The top recruiting students were of computer Science and engineering students with almost average package of 7 LPA. There were many foreign companies at the time of placement which were very willing to take us.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure of the college is very great and is well situated in greenery all around. The college have all the facilities. The mess food is also very great, almost all the faculty is of the south side and around 3-4 times there is south food made available in the mess. There is a well stocked library to in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very well educated from the top universities and have a great experience in teaching. The teachers are very friendly and do crack jokes while teaching. The teachers are very strict in checking our exams. The difficult of the question paper is above average.

Review of NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements were good in this college. Many companies visit our college to hire students. Around 70% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, IBM, Tata, Adani Power, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, and it provides a huge central library. Laboratories were available. Wi-Fi was enabled on campus. Games and extra curricular activities were held monthly basis. Hostel facility was good. The canteen and mess were well-maintained in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members were well educated and knowledgeable about their subjects. The teaching methods were also good enough. They were very helpful and friendly. They help students in final year projects and practicals. They also make students ready for the interviews.

Placements: Almost 90% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys visit the college for placements. Almost all students got an internship. A role offered by the company is a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has good Wi-Fi. The library has more than lac books, and classrooms are pretty good. The food served in a mess is average. It has a lot of canteens on the campus. The sports infrastructure is very good. For medical facilities, the college has a hospital inside the campus.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well-educated. They are PhD holders and very supportive. Some teachers have a good style of teaching, but some teachers are bearing too. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it almost makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams are hard, but if we study normally, we can pass them easily.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course provides good opportunities in ISRO, DRDO, and some other top research institutes. The college organises a lot of fests like Festember, Nittfest, and Aaveg, and it gives ample opportunity to all the students to enhance their personal development.

Review of NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Software developer, data analyst, techno manager, graduate engineering trainee, etc., roles are offered by the companies that visit National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. Almost everyone gets placed here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Hostel facilities are not so great. Wi-Fi speed is pretty good, and sometimes it drops drastically. The electricity supply is very good, and it is available almost 24 hours. Labs are pretty advanced. There are a lot of canteens.
Faculty: The teachers provide students with sufficient information regarding the content, and the rest depends on the interest of the students. If the student is very eager to learn, teachers will support them as much as they can. Otherwise, you can self-study.
Other: Getting scholarships is pretty easy if you are a part of this college.

The candidates can pursue Diploma in Mechanical Engineering immediately after their 10th entrance exam.

In year 2017-18 at NIT Trichy, the total 97% of students gets placed in various companies. While in year 2016-17 this was about 98.5%. The average salary package is above 6 Lakhs per year.
