I am satisfied because of the placement and the really good infrastructure.
Placements: 95% of students have been placed in my department. The companies are Bajaj, Apple, Tata, and Titan. The top roles are in marketing, statistics, finance, and automobile. In my course, the seniors have good placements. They will go for internships at many companies; 90% of students will do internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, and the infrastructure of the classroom is very good. There are many labs; the most notable is the big library. The hostel was okay, and the food was good.
Faculty: Typically, faculty are highly qualified and supportive. The curriculum is practical and industry-aligned. Exams range from moderate to highly difficult, and the standard pass percentage hovers between 50% and 60%. The teaching was very good; the exam was difficult, but it helped to improve.
Other: It is given by counseling. Okay, this was a good course. In my college, the fest is very good.

Initially totally dissatisfied, later it became good.
Placements: National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is mainly known for its placements. We have very good placements even in lower branches like Production and MME. In my course, 74 out of 94 students got placed. The highest package was 36 LPA. The median was 12 LPA. Most companies from different sectors came to the campus with various job roles. It includes Product Management, Supply Chain Management, and sometimes software roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, not that good. There is no AC in classrooms and no cooler allowed in the hostel. There is no water cooler in the hostel. In the first year, B.Tech students stay in three-seater rooms, and later they get two-seater rooms, which are still quite congested. However, over time, students learn to adjust.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and mostly helpful. However, most of them do not know how to effectively deliver the content or teach properly. Semester exams are mostly PYQ-based. If you have a good connection with seniors, you can get previous papers, and most questions tend to repeat if the teacher is the same.
Other: I was not getting a circuital branch at my rank, so I chose a core branch as it was the best option available. Overall, the college is good, campus life is fine, but city life is not as expected.

It is a very good college for this course.
Placements: The students start sitting for placement from the 6th semester, i.e., the end of the third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of the 7th semester itself. The placement percentage here is very good, it is around 90% and the average placement for the 2025 placement session is around 15.76 LPA or maybe higher, since results are not made available to us yet. The highest offer is around 55 lakh+, according to some fourth-year students. The number of companies visiting us is many. They include tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sony, Samsung, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in the room include a table, chair, almirah and a bed. The mess food is okay, not so good, but one will get used to it. If we talk about the books and journals available in the library, they are easily accessible to all the students and professors. The classrooms have high-quality projectors and speakers, and teachers use a microphone to deliver their lectures. There are a lot of sports available on campus, and everyone can play any sport they want to play.
Faculty: The faculty members of this college are like those of all the colleges, some of them are very good, but some of them are here just to read the PPT and time pass. About the exams, there are 3 exams conducted in the entire semester, the first one is this CT1, then CT2, and then end sem exams. CT1 and CT2 are easy, which anyone can score well just by studying 1 or 2 days before the exam, but for end sem exams, one needs to start studying almost 10-15 days earlier because they consist of the entire syllabus.

It has good infrastructure, but a bad climate in the summer. There are exceptional peers.
Placements: I'm not sure about the percentage of students who got internships or placements. I suggest that students just check it out on the college website. It is legitimate. But to be frank, the packages offered in core, as I know, in production are very few. But this branch is special in offering the connection between management and technical fields. Excellent packages and placements are available in non-core fields, especially consulting and management. The branch is a chill one, which offers ample time for studying anything or extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: The library facility, octagon, or if I say anything in the college, is just on a different level, except for hostels. Being a college affiliated with NIRF 9, we expect much better from their side in hostel management. There is no responsibility on their part if a theft happens. Actually, two laptops were stolen. The library must have a proper internet connection, which is bad. The hostel is improving right now with proper renovation after our complaints. It serves very good mess food. I'll say much better than any college. Since I've been in some.
Faculty: Teachers are exceptionally qualified. But as we might know, as qualifications increase, attitude increases. Most faculty members are top-notch, leaving a very few. The course curriculum is fine. I'll say leave the teaching part apart, it depends on our luck. We will get very good teachers with very good character and a helpful nature, too. But in the end, self-study matters.
Other: Fests are good, but with some restrictions. But academically, students will never regret joining this college. I'll guarantee that. I'm saying this with just 1 year of experience. The amount of exposure I got within one year is incredible. Students and hostel life are too good here.

It has one of the best placement records. Classes are a bit hectic, but overall, it's good.
Placements: There is an 80 percent placement rate in B.Tech civil engineering. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package offered is 33 LPA. For tech fields, companies like Microsoft and Google, and for core companies like Dalmia, ACC Cement, L&T, etc., hire students. Internships are not very common in this branch, so we have to fight a bit more compared to other branches.
Infrastructure: The hostel and mess facilities are among the best across all NITs and IITs. We have high-speed Wi-Fi in each room. The mess food is great compared to other top colleges. There is a curfew for first-year boys. For girls, it is for all four years. We have an NIT Hospital for medical issues or emergencies. NIT Trichy has one of the top sports infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not as good as those at primary IITs. This institution has a relevant curriculum, but some subjects, like engineering graphics, feel outdated. Apart from these, we will enjoy our studies. Semester exams are not a big deal. We can score good grades even if we start to study just 3-4 days before the exam.

I felt absolutely good about joining this college because of its good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Now I am a fresher here. If we look at the placements at NIT Trichy, they are amazing. To be honest, I am from the Civil Engineering branch, so we cannot expect high packages, but our seniors get into many PSUs. The alumni here help the most with placements. Last year, nearly 78% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 34 LPA and 20 LPA for core jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities on campus are good. We can find everything in the campus supermarket (2k). If we talk about the hostels, as you know, NIT Trichy is an old college, so it has very old hostels, but the good thing is that they have been renovated this year. Wi-Fi is very good. For the first few years, they accommodated us in the Kailesh mess. The food here is not very good, but in the second year, we can choose any mess we want, and those are very good.
Faculty: Faculty here is outstanding. Everyone has in-depth knowledge. They have completed their PhDs or Master's from top institutes in India. They are very helpful and provide a faculty mentor, which is the best thing I have ever experienced. If we talk about the semester exams, the grading is relatively strict, so professors give moderately difficult papers.
Other: I chose this course because it is the branch I got into at NIT Trichy. The best thing about this course is that there is more scope for it in the future. It is one of the oldest courses in NIT Trichy. If we talk about the events, they are amazing. After working hard for JEE, the events here are worth it. It is an 800-acre campus, and there are around 6000–7000 students in NIT Trichy. The connectivity includes various clubs and communities, which provide good interactions.
