A college which is in top 5 for biotech in India have arsenal of high technical equipment.

Placements: Most of the batch students had opted for the higher education. Few of them were placed in IT companies and were offered system engineer roles. Dr.Reddy's recruited 3 students. The salary offered was above 4 lacs per annum in 2013. The placement cell was efficient to hire the companies to campus. However, only one core company visited, and it was not sufficient considering the batch size.

Infrastructure: The biotech labs are equipped with tools and machinery. I remember we had SEM and TEM on campus and chromatography also. The hostels and classrooms were Wi-Fi covered. We had a hospital. There are an indoor stadium, a football ground and a couple of basketball courts. Boys' hostel has options for single bedded to 5 bedded. The classrooms were decently equipped with the required infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are PhD qualified, few of them have post-doctorate fellowship. Most of the faculty are indulged in full time or part time research in their particular area and have immense knowledge. In 2008, there were no smartphones and not much use of the laptop. The teaching was mostly on the blackboard. I had an implant training in the bulk drug manufacturing plant and came to know about the various equipment used in a factory. The course curriculum aptly covers the various aspects of the specialisation.
