Good placements, flexible curriculum and friendly environment.

Placements: In my batch, around 95% of the students got placed, but it may vary every year. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Motorq, JP Morgan, Oracle, Juspay, Natwest, Nokia, etc. The top roles offered are SDE, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, SDET, Machine Learning, and several core engineering job roles. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the highest package is 50 LPA, and the average LPA is around 7, it may vary every year. Most of the students got internships from my course, and nearly 20% of them got paid internships.

Infrastructure: My department has Wi-Fi facilities everywhere, and all the classrooms have AC and projectors. Every student is provided with an individual system in the classroom to learn practically during the classes. The quality of food in the hostels is good. The food menu is balanced for all cultural students, and they also provide evening snacks for students.

Faculty: My faculty members are highly qualified, and several of them have industry experience too. They also know of real-world technologies. The curriculum is updated frequently and is very flexible. The semester exams are easy, but a few papers are tough. The pass percentage of the exams is 50%.

Placements: In Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, there are several courses available. As per my academic selection, I selected Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science. Every year, around 90 to 95% of the people get selected through campus placements in various companies, including some startup companies. Top roles offered in the placements are web development, machine learning, data science, etc. The highest package since the year 2024 is 55 Lacs per annum. The internships provided by Sathyabama University are quite low, but the talented people will get selected for sure.

Infrastructure: The hostel and university are very comfortable for everyone. The food provided by the institute's hostel is fresh and hygienic. Several types of food are included, such as chicken, mutton, egg, sambar, etc. Both non-veg and veg items are available every day. The only negative in the hostel is that we have to buy drinking water. The non-AC hostel will be around 1 Lakh per year, and the AC hostel will be 2.1 Lakh per year. The non-AC hostel includes 5 people in a room, whereas the AC hostel includes 3 people in a room.

Faculty: The faculty in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology are very well-experienced. Most of them have over 5 years of experience in various courses. Exams are not very difficult, but if we study somewhat, we can easily pass. To get more marks, we have to study hard. The passing percentage is 30% in semester exams and 50% in internal exams.

My views on Sathyabama University.

Placements: It is one of the top universities in Tamil Nadu. The percentage of students who got placed is around 80 percent. The highest package in my course is 41 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Oracle, Google, Amazon, and Swiggy. The percentage of students who got internships was 40 percent.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. It was established in 1987 and upgraded to university level in 2001. There is an academic building, an admin building, a central library, and laboratories that are equipped with required amenities like Wi-Fi and smart board facilities. The classrooms are clean and hygienic. Facilities in the hostel are good, with enough requirements provided. Food in a mess is not hygiene. So many of the students stay in the PG hostel.

Faculty: The faculty at Satyabama University are industrial professionals. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and willing to teach us. Teaching quality is very unique. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares us for industry readiness. Semester exams were not too difficult; we could easily pass them by studying a few days before the exam. Pass percentage is around 25 percent.

Other: Campus life is good. The size of the campus is around 400 acres, which has many sports facilities but no active participation. There are many extracurricular activities. There are events during these events that celebrate visits here. Sometimes they visit to promote something.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of strict rules, Placements in 2024.

Placements: The percentage of students were placed in 2024 passout batch is around 90%. The highest package was the 50 LPA. The average package in the year 2024 was 4.5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies for our computer Science department was Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, HCL, Teach Mahindra etc.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is so good. For advance studies students college provide computer system to every student in the class. And their will A/c in every class. Infrastructure is good. Other that we have advanced Artificial intelligence Lab, AR/VR lab, Robotics Lab etc.

Faculty: Sathyabama University faculty helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers teaches the syllabus very good. Our course curriculum is so relevant to the industry. Course make the students industry ready. The semester exam are little bit difficult but if we prepare well than we can score good marks .

Other: I am currently B.E- Computer Data Science student. I choose this s course because in the data Science tier is more opportunities in future.
