Satisfied with all aspects such as placements, campus life, and education.
Placements: 100% placements were provided. Top companies like Amazon, Zoho, and Oracle participated in the placements and startups also took part. The highest package offered is 50 LPA. A diverse number of companies attended the placements and all hired with a lot of benefits.
Infrastructure: The hostel was very spacious and comfortable. The hostel food was very average and they should improve on that.
Faculty: Faculty were all experienced and very good at their job. Concepts were taught with utmost skill and understanding. Semesters were quite difficult and challenging. The questions were very twisted and tricky and was quite tough to attend without a heavy preparation. My course and syllabus was architected very well with important base knowledge about computer science and coding-related concepts were also taught to us.
Other: Campus life was pretty good as the college is very scenic and beautiful surrounded by stress all over.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements here are one of the reasons to join this college. People here are crazy about placements. Students try to maintain a CGPA of more than 9 if they want to get placed in dream companies. Students can do internships in the 2nd year if they wish to. Internships are compulsory from the 3rd year onwards.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. We are provided with Wi-Fi services. We have a sports complex that opens only at 2:30 PM. We have an indoor basketball court that is only for SNU students. We have the privilege of entering the library whenever we are free.
Faculty: The teaching quality of faculty members varies from person to person. If you can survive on your own, then you're good to go. Semester exams are not difficult if you are able to cover the whole syllabus within two days. Students are given one week to prepare for their semester exams. For other exams, they give only one day to study.

SSN | College Life | Placements | Events | Scholarship | Cinema shooting.
Placements: Almost 95% of the student who opted for placements got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 30 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Paypal, Deloitte, IBM, Barclays, and a lot more. Some of the students got summer internships during their third year and converted to full-time. Most of them got on final year 6 months internship between Jan to June and a full-time offer with various companies such as Google, Amazon, Paypal, Fidelity Investments, and more.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms and hostels have Wi-Fi facilities. But the Wi-Fi speed is somewhat slow. Labs and classrooms are pretty neat and good. A good library facility is also available. It contains almost all the books needed for our curriculum. Hostel mess food is not up to the mark. Good sports facilities are available in the college. Those who are interested in sports are appreciated by our college and they provide sports scholarships also for students who are in sports. Ranji matches are organised every year in our college cricket ground. Our college football ground is the Chennai FC home practice ground.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are kind, helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry standards but students can't get most of the knowledge from the college course itself. They need to spend their own time learning industry skills. Semester exams are somewhat hard in college. The pass percentage is 50%. Since we are an autonomous batch the question paper is prepared within our college. They conduct three internal assessments and consider the best two marks as internals.
Other: IT department is good while compared to other departments. Most of the faculty members are helpful. The college conducts two big events one is Invente which is completely a tech event organised by students which is held in the month of October and another event is Insticits which is a cultural event held in the month of March for three days. There are a lot of tech and non-tech clubs available in the college and they also organise various events in our college. College provides a good scholarship amount for MCM and economically weaker students. They also provide full free admission and education for 25 rural students every year. Since the campus environment is pretty good and there is a lot of shooting happening in and around the campus.

Placements: SSN College of Engineering is a top tier college in Tamil Nadu. Placements are quite good. In the previous year, a CSE student bagged an excellent salary package of 15 LPA. IT students get an average salary package ranging from 9 LPA-10 LPA. Other branches students also get good salary packages. Data scientist, competitive programmer and software developer are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: One of the best things about SSN is its infrastructure. Students who score more than 195 marks can easily get admission in AU, MIT and PSG. But students prefer SSN due to its infrastructure. There is a huge library with a Wi-Fi facility, and the library is a good place to gain adequate knowledge. I am a day scholar. But most of my hostel friends say that the food served in the hostel is above average. However, the hostel rooms and bathrooms are very good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very knowledgeable. Most of them are doing research in their respective fields. Students gain a lot of knowledge from them, and most of them hold a PhD degree. They teach more life skills, and they help us a lot in research and internal funding projects.
Other: I am very keen and interested in learning computer-related things, so I have chosen B.Tech. I learn lots of new things every day, and I want to improve my coding skills. Instincts and Invente are two mega fests conducted here. Instincts is a non-technical event, and it is usually conducted in even years. Many students from all over Tamil Nadu visit here and participate in various cultural events. Invente is a technical event, and it is very informative.

There is the best infrastructure, and it is a good college which provides complete freedom.
Placements: Above 96% of the students from our department got placed, while others may prepare for higher studies and other exams. The highest salary package offered here ranges from 30 LPA-40 LPA for IT branch. Our college also has an M.Tech course. Companies like Goldman Sachs, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc., visit our college for placements. In the 3rd year only, many companies visit here to offer internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure, and it looks very beautiful. There is a very peaceful environment, and good Wi-Fi facility is available around the campus. Our college has the best classrooms and nice hostel. If you want air-conditioning facilities, single room and attached bathrooms, they are also available. Our college has an air-conditioned library and high-speed internet facility. Lots of books are available there. There are no rules in the hostel for boys except for one rule that they are not allowed outside after 8:30 pm. For girls, I think they don't allow after 6:30 pm.
Faculty: SSN provides complete freedom, and if you are from the IT department, you can fully enjoy it here. SSN is not only best for providing freedom but also provides quality education. Now it is an autonomous college, and it has a research centre. It is the best place to gain knowledge regarding not only subjects because they focus more on other things like projects, collaboration, opensource contribution and others. But the only drawback is it is a private institution, so it is a little bit expensive.
Other: Yes, lots of fest happening here. In every month there will be at least one fest.

A college with good placements and infrastructure .
Placements: The college recorded 100% placements for our batch with the highest package 12lpa and the lowest package of 3lpa for IT roles. Amazon was the largest recruiter of our batch. Software engineer, trainee were the roles offered in IT companies. CTS, Wipro, Accenture were the mass recruiters. SAP, Dell, Thought works were the some of the dream companies which visited the campus.
Infrastructure: SSN has the one of the best infrastructures in South India with smart classrooms. Lab facilities are really good with air conditioned facilities, Library has several books of different fields. Food is average and not so good in canteen which needs to be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in all aspects like doubts clearing, encouraging students for participating in events. Some are very organised and very good in teaching and some are average only. Curriculum is good with relevant subjects. More you are interested in the course more you will be benefitted.

SSN - My four year Journey.
Placements: Almost 80% of our students were placed within 6 months of placement initiation. By February 2018, everyone has atleast one job offer in hand. Companies like Amazon came twice for the roles of Software developer and Cloud Support Associate with a package of 15+ LPA. Others like HSBC, LTI, FRESHWORKS, Goldman Sachs also came with an offer of 10+ LPA. Regular companies like Accenture, TCS, Royal Enfield, Caterpillar, Bosch and Infosys also came with more than 4lpa for various core and software developer roles.
Infrastructure: SSN offers Maximum flexibility for students in terms of dress code, library usage, project works, etc. They have excellent Wi-Fi facility in all areas, and a fully stacked, state of the art library system with automatic renewal, borrow and return policies. There's an in-house hospital in our Biomedical department for emergency purposes. SSN hosts Intra College culturals motivating students to enhance their co curricular activities. The infamous SSN Trophy invites students from various colleges to take part in a number of sports championships. Hostels are decent and food is okay. I didn't face any difficulties at SSN.
Faculty: 95% of the teachers have their doctorate and they're very experienced members of various professional societies. They're extremely friendly and helpful when clarifying doubts. They are excellent guides when it comes to projects and have helped a lot of students publish papers in international journals and attend conferences abroad.
Other: Instincts - inter college culturals. Invente - inter college national symposium

Overall, 5 star college. You will get everything you need for a bright career.
Placements: Placements are very good. Many startups like Zoho, Freshworks, Ajira etc. Have turned and recruited many people. Both technical and non technical roles are considered. Also MNCs like Amazon, Global Analytics, etc. Have come and deserving candidates have gotten opportunities to work. Almost 100% placements for all students. I am personally very satisfied. Companies come with job offers such as, sales, pre-sales and also content writer. Placements in SSN is worthy. Salary ranges vary from 3 LPA to 22 LPA. Some companies offered internship and students will be offered offer letters depending upon their performance. Most of them gave offer letters directly. There is a Career and Developer Centre in our college.
Infrastructure: Amazing Infrastructure with lots of greenery. Separate departments with abundant classrooms for all year students. We have cricket and basketball ground as well as ladies and gents gym. IT Dept's have AC labs. Canteen food is quite hieginic. We have several shooting attraction spots too.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and help us a lot during the course of 4 years. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Lots of notes and study materials are offered and can be accessed using the College intranet. We followers same curriculum as Anna University.
Other: Lots of opportunities such as internal funded projects, Conferences etc. We have our Technical symposium in the month of September and Cultural fest in the month of March.

Hello Jayachandiran,
Your cut-off is very low to get a seat at any of the course at SSN College of Engineering. To get admission at SSN, you need to have at least 190 and above because the competition is too high. So, you cannot get a seat for IT or CSE at SSN.
