Review of Shiv Nadar University by a student.

Placements: Highest package (CTC) is about 58.09 LPA and average package is about 11.35 LPA . Top recruiters are Cognizant, Adobe, Dell, Goldman Sachs, Larsen & Toubro, TCS, Bosch, etc. There are high chances of getting internships here . And also there are international technical clubs for every course.

Infrastructure: Hostels are equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi network and a snack vending machine, and provide drinking water. Every floor has a semi-automatic washing machine, and every hostel has a pantry in it. Coming to food, here both North and South Indian dishes are served. They taste good compared to other hostel foods.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; if we approach them with a problem, they will help us. Their teaching quality is very good, but when it comes to a person with low grades, he might find it difficult to go with the things. The course curriculum is very good; here, we can do our minor in other courses irrespective of the school one is studying. Here, we have a career development center which makes students ready for the industry.

Great faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students get their internship offer at the end of there third year, when many companies visit the campus for on-campus placements. There are students who get the pre-placement offer directly after the internship. Many students get placed and are offered a good package from companies including Brain, Oracle, Dell, Microsoft, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The mess food is really good here at SNU. There is BLD, as well as midnight and evening meals offered to the students. There are a good variety of food options available. The hostel rooms are spacious and regular cleaning is done in the hostels. There is a common pantry and washing machines are also available. The library is very big and well maintained. There is a gym as well, which is free for the students to use.

Faculty: The courses offered here are great. There are also project-based assignments that are given to the students. The teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. A strict attendance criteria of 75 percent is maintained here. There are practical labs that have many pieces of equipment for practical knowledge of the subjects. The quizzes and semester exams are of medium difficulty.

Other: There are good sports facilities, as an indoor sports complex is present here. There are a good number of fests that are being organized here.

Our college is better than other private universities in the country.

Placements: Our college had an incredible placement season in 2016. Around 33% of students received more than one job offer. Around 58 companies visited our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Dell, HP, Alta Metrics, Mu Sigma, and CSC.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and beautiful. Our campus is surrounded by 286 acres. The best part is that it is a fully residential campus, so there are no day scholars. The main USP is beautiful.

Faculty: All courses have a unique element. Our university focuses on research, which means while pursuing undergraduate courses, our college provides a lot of opportunities for conducting research or building a project. This helps us to understand technology at another level.

Other: Our college connectivity is good. Our college students are from different parts of the country.

Placements: Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, American Express, De Shaw, Mother Dairy, etc. Our college has tied up with more than 500 companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with good facilities. Our college has a top-notch international indoor sports complex. Our college has a library, and it contains more than 10000 books. Our college has a cafeteria. The food served in the mess is good. Our college is good in terms of facilities.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They are Ph.D. holders. It is a purely residential university for students and faculty members. Faculty members are alumni from top ivies like Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. They have completed their Ph.D.s from the IITs.

I am satisfied with the faculty members, great events, and sports.

Placements: I am also a fresher, but as far as I have seen, placements are good. People of civil engineering are also getting placements easily. University helps students a lot in placements. We also have a career development center to help us in placements. Events are always going on for these.

Infrastructure: Everything I have seen till now is best in Noida wherein colleges of just name are running. SNU has state of art library. We also have horse riding, all other games including squash games and martial arts too with a dedicated area for all. Mess food is great and we don't have to pay if we don't want to eat from the mess. There are a lot of other options to eat.

Faculty: Teachers here are great, but that greatness comes at the price of extremely tough exams. As far as offline mode of examination, it is great too with all sorts of things to avoid cheating. We have tutorials for problem-solving with not more than 20 students, and some other batches are made for students who are weak in their studies.

Other: The best thing about B. Tech Mechanical is the state-of-the-art lab with everything you wish. You can also play games on them. In the library, we have LAN ports with a high-speed net to download/stream/enjoy anything. We also have a family head and 2 peer guides for all sorts of questions. Events/fests are going on all the time. Even clubs organise events with perfection. All the sports are available.

The Shiv Nadar University application form 2019 is available to the candidates from online mode only.
