No, VIT Vellore BTech admission is not decided through JEE Mains scores. Candidates who wish to apply for BTech must appear in VITEEE only in order to qualify for VIT Vellore admission. No other entrance exams have been mentioned as alternatives to VITEEE.
VIT University BCom course admission is merit-based. Hence, the selection is done based on aggregate obtained by eligible candidates in previous qualifying degree/exam. The shortlisted candidates are called for a counselling (virtual or physical) round. Moreover, the final admission to BCom programme subjects to merit list preparation based on cut off decided by VIT Vellore as per seat availability. The interested students can visit the institute's official website to register and apply for the UG course.

The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam was scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. Applicants had to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

Rajeswari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship is offered by the institute to meritorious students from economically weak background. Apart from this, students are open to government scholarships. VIT Vellore BTech fee ranges between INR 6.9 lakh and 8.3 lakh. The fee changes depending on the specialisation. The total course fee has to be paid in the agreed upon instalments.
VIT Vellore BTech fee is between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh as per official sources. Students should pay the course fee after completion of selection rounds to confirm their seats. Admission will be cancelled in case fee is not paid. Students also need to pay registration fee to apply for admission. BTech application fee is INR 1,350. No, candidates cannot take direct admission in VIT Vellore. Admission to the Vellore campuse is strictly based on your rank in the entrance exam, followed by VITEE for BTech; followed by counselling.
There are mainly two types of scholarships offered at VIT Vellore viz. Scholarships under the STARS programme and GVSDP scholarship.
A pass in bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in BCA/ BSc (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a mandatory subject at Class 12/ graduation level and a minimum of 60% aggregate or first class in the qualifying exam is required to apply for VIT Vellore MCA course. Candidates appearing for their final degree exam/ final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

IIT Bombay declared the results of UCEED 2025 on March 7, 2025. The results were announced for all candidates who appeared in the design entrance exam.
