The course is M.Tech and MS sandwich programme from Mechanical Background.
Placements: When we look at the current market of Mechanical /Manufacturing /Automobile, the jobs are getting marginalized and the current crisis is making them even worse. So, if you want to do both MS and abroad studies or want to start being an entrepreneur then this college is for you.
Infrastructure: Actually, my batch is the only batch for not attending the classes physically. So, based on my friends who have done their Masters this college is good. As our classes are held online, we can't come to the college and stay in Hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are the backbone of the VIT University. Many professors are very humble but strict at their subjects. They have immense amount of knowledge. This curriculum is very unique in whole India. Many professors publish their research work every year in International Journal.

I am satisfied with my education life.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are BMW, Valeo, Tata, etc. Almost 60% of students get internships on campus. The roles offered are design engineer and test engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, the classrooms are top-notch, and the campus has the biggest library in the whole district. I am a day scholar so I do not know about the hostel facilities. But I heard from most of the students that all the given facilities are good.
Faculty: Around 90% of the staff are Ph.D. holders, and also the management is trying to make the campus 100% Ph.D. holding staff. The quality of teaching is higher than what students expect. The course will be relevant to the industry standard. If students study well, then they will pass easily. There is no difficulty in passing as the internals is 60% of the total marks. Getting grades is important here due to the absolute grading system.
Other: Mechatronics is the future so I opted for this course. Robotics is hands-on experience. The management should answer us responsibly if they have any queries. All the events are celebrated grandly.

Somewhat satisfied with the Faculty.
Placements: 65 % of students were placed. Our college provides 2 to16 lakh LPA. Mechanical related companies visit less for the placements. Our college takes companies like Titan, Rockwell etc. for placements. They provide jobs like senior engineer and design engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college is equipped with robotics lab, mechatronics lab, computer lab, library with Wi-Fi facility. I'm not hosteller, I'm a day scholar, so I don't know about hostel amenities. As per I heard from hostellers, it is also equipped with good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members some time neglect undergrads and post-grade students and work on publication. Curriculum and exams are all good. The exams are very tough. If we study, we can pass them. If we didn't study, we will surely fail and then we have to reappear for the same subject next semester or next year with a re-registration fees of INR 6000.
Other: This course can make the future of the world.

The college is very nice regarding all the aspects.
Placements: For B.Tech, it is one of the best colleges in India. Placement records are good. Many top companies will hire, but for M.Tech, the placements are not that much good. Currently, from my batch, only two got placed in Mercedes and 3 in Renault Nissan, and my class strength is 27. So, for the M.Tech students, the placements are not satisfactory.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome with all the facilities. The library is also very good with the centralised air-conditioning system. The college campus is energetic. The hostel is also very nice. All the facilities are available in this college. Stadium for outdoor games, swimming pool, and an indoor stadium for various indoor games are also provided. The college canteen is also very nice. In a mess food, they provide an option for food like south Indian or north Indian, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, etc., which is really good.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them are from IIT and PhD holders. The course curriculum is very good and flexible, and we can choose our subjects with our interest. One of the interesting things is, they follow project-based learning which helps to build practical knowledge.
Other: Rivera is one of the biggest and colourful cultural events, and Gravitas is a technical event which conducts annually. Regular guest lectures on different subjects and workshops will be conducted in the college.

A year in VIT University, when you focus on study and nothing else.
Placements: The placement for my department as well of others, it depends on your internship. The company where you are the intern, they will absorb you as the permanent employee, most of the time. So it is better to try for an internship in companies through placement cell.
Infrastructure: The facilities and equipment in the labs are high techs and well built. The library itself too big to lose yourself in the books. An ample number of books with a sea of knowledge. The college is trying to make everything digital. The only thing that will make you sad, as you're arranging classes in a different building.
Faculty: The most of the faculty members don't deserve to be here, but that doesn't make deserved faculty members as inferior. Few of them are seriously good in their respective fields. They don't need books and all to teach you. You ask they answer while most of them cannot do so. It's up to you, which subject you choose.
Other: You can relish your future and present with the great essence of everything in the VIT, i.e., education, personality and everything you can't even think of could be enriched here. Different schools provide different resources so you can join them based on your interest.

No. You can't get admission for M.Tech. You need to pursue BE or B.Tech degree first.

Well, you missed the exam, you don't have good marks in JEE and then, you don't even want to pay much.

Placements were always good. M.Tech placements are also good for M.Tech in CAD/CAM, manufacturing, industrial design and automotive in core companies
