The institute offers a full-time M.Tech in 22 specialisations of Engineering. A few of the top specialisations include Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, CAD/ CAM, Biotechnology, Automotive Electronics, and Manufacturing Engineering, among others. Candidates must hold BE/ BTech degree in relevant discipline to apply for the M.Tech course. Candidates must pass BE/ BTech degree in relevant subjects to apply for the M.Tech course. The VIT Vellore M.Tech admission process is completely entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on VITMEE exam, which is conducted at the university-level by VIT.
