The minimum eligibility is passing Class 12 in any stream with atleast 50% aggregate from a recognised school. Those awaiting the Board exam results are also eligible. At the time of admission, certificates, original and photocopies, are mandatory. 

RTMNU BCom seat allotment is based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. The BCom programme is offered through various affiliated colleges and institutions of the University. The total seat intake for the BCom programme offered at various affiliated institutions of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is 39,520.

• To take admission in Dr. Shantilal K Somaiya School of Commerce and Business Studies you should meet the eligibility criteria.
• Fill the application form, attach the necessary documents and submit with the registration amount.
• The selection is done on the basis of entrance scores. Students must appear for SVUET 2026. However, national entrance tests such as MAH BBM CET, MAH BBA CET, etc. are also considered.
• After selection, students must pay fees to confirm admission.

Admission to the BCom course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides,  Aspirants must pass Class 12 or an equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the BCom course at MIT College of Management. After completion of the selection rounds, the college releases the merit list. Further, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents. Aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat. 

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31.

National Testing Agency re-commenced CUET 2026 registration on February 23, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification, candidates can check the important dates about CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration was February 26, 2026 (11.50 PM).

Candidates were required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.Com from Presidency College is INR 480,000. While, the Median package offered by Mount Carmel College after completion of B.Com is INR 333,000. Basis these stats, Presidency College is better option compared to Mount Carmel College on the Median salary parameter.

NMIMS Navi Mumbai Campus offers a full-time B.Com at the UG level. Eligible candidates can apply for admission. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% and Mathematics / Statistics as mandatory subjects for admission. Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised by State or Central Education Board. They must have taken five subjects in Class 12 with an aggregate score of 50%. The university has not specified the subjects required in Class 12/ equivalent examination. So Maths is not compulsory to take admission to the BCom (Hons) course of SRM University.
