A good college with good infrastructure and placements. Overall, it has value for money.
Placements: The placement rate in my course is quite high, about 75% of students study in our class. The average package offered is quite good compared to other colleges, ranging from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 in the placements. Good companies like Lakshay Digital and Technicolor visit our campus for recruitment. Good job roles like 3D Modeller, Animator, Graphic Designer, and many more are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well formed. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped with systems, VR modules, motion capture suits, Chroma labs, and PCs with the latest configuration. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with AC, chairs, and desks. The rooms are regularly cleaned and sanitized by the staff. The hostel has 24/7 medical facilities and qualified doctors to ensure that no health hazards are ignored. 24/7 ATM facilities are also available. The sports complex caters to sports enthusiasts and students who have an extra skill of playing games. The skills in performing arts are also nurtured here.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant and verified by the UGC. The university also has a good place in the World QS Ranking among other universities in the world. The course is enough to make the students industry-ready, and the semester exams are easy if one studies well. The passing percentage is set according to the rules of UGC.
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to work in a creative field. The best thing about my course is that it lets me be free in my career and lets me choose my own path in life and not be stuck to the traditional path of employment. I think two things could be better for students, that is, more and more resources should be available, and the software licenses should be made free for the students. The campus life is very good over here as students from all over the world come here. The scholarships provided here are very reasonable.

Great for studies, worth of money.
Placements: I'm not placed yet. I'm currently studying. Chandigarh University is good for placements as most of the students get placed. Many popular and big companies visit our college for recruitment such as Google, Microsoft, etc. Every student is well prepared by the teachers. Approximately, 95% of students get placed. Through Animation, one can be appoint as a cartoonist also.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of CU is very well maintained. Every corner is kept neat and clean. Laboratories are fully equipped with hardware, etc. Classrooms are well furnished, clean and airy. They provided every study books, Current affairs, etc. In their Library. Wi-Fi is also provided to the whole campus with good speed. Hostel food is good to survive there. Mess is well cleaned regularly. Canteen is also provided with most of the fresh food. Medical facilities are average. Sports and games are also motivated aside of studies.
Faculty: Faculty are very professional. But there's generation gap between the students and the management. They don't understand what we want and need. They don't listen to our problems although they are very skilled in their profession. Faculty taught relevant topics. They made us prepared for industry.
Other: As in present time the craze of animation is getting higher and higher among teenagers and adults. The scope of this course will increase. All the events are organised very well. Students enjoy too much and all the facilities provided by CU are great. Scholarships are also provided. Extracurricular activities are also motivated.

It is a disciplined college with a lot of curricular activities.
Placements: As I am in the Animation department, campus placements are rare for us, but they taught very well that we could easily crack placements off-campus and abroad as well. Students are inducted in being campus ambassadors of different software application companies such as Adobe, Microsoft.
Infrastructure: It's a well-organized university divided into different departments and blocks so that everyone can work without any mess. All the labs are equipped with the properly licenced software and with a lab tech for our help. We have different food trucks along with subway, Nescafe like eating hubs, and even the mess in the hostel serves outstanding food. Hostel rooms are furnished with proper beds along with boxes and cupboard.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained with good communication skills. And they taught us everything with the latest technology and with the latest software. Faculty members are supporting, and they guide us and monitoring is provided for the future. Teachers are friendly and always available for students queries.
Other: Various events with different artist interaction and even a lot of seminars are conducted for better outside knowledge. And visits to different sites are conducted. College provides scholarship for the students who score above 90% CGPA in 12. Active sports tournament are also held.

Not so satisfied because of the faculty and industry exposure in 2016. Infrastructure is great.
Placements: In M.Sc. Animation and Multimedia, our batch was the first batch. Only 1 or 2 students were placed. Hardly 1-2 companies visited for recruitment. The highest salary offered was 25k per month, the lowest was 12k per month and the average was 15 k. Cognizant and one of the startup companies visited for animation placements. Most of them required graphic designers to join them. 20% of the students were offered jobs, but none of them joined. The opportunities were not as one expects after the post graduation.
Infrastructure: The university provided a very good infrastructure. They repair everything like labs and hostels very quickly. The campus is very clean and well-maintained. I have never seen such a clean and maintained campus anywhere. The hostel rooms were awesome. I have not even heard of other campuses providing the facilities we had. There were attached washrooms, nicely designed rooms, garden and good food facilities. The classrooms and labs were properly managed.
Faculty: Tthe teachers were lazy. No one actually cared about the students. Even if someone tries to actually do something, they will try to stop them as much as they can. We had so many expectations from the head of the department but he was not helpful at any point. Instead, he was a hurdle. He would not communicate our issues to the seniors. There was no industry exposure. We had to fight on our own to gain knowledge. The course syllabus was great, but not taught in a proper way. The faculty was not so experienced.
Other: The college is awesome. Now they have even better infrastructure. But if you want to enjoy college life, do not go there as it is more like a school. There are very silly strict rules. If you want a good infrastructure, this is the best place. If you want to do something, go there and work hard on your own. No one else can help.
