Decoding VIT vellore: A place to grow and learn.
Placements: Placements are fine if we have a good CGPA and resume. Top recruitment companies for the civil department include L&T, TATA Housing, Dalmia, JSW, Midas, etc. The highest placement in 2023 salary package was 18 LPA, and the average placement salary package was around 5 LPA-6 LPA. If we have skills and good internships, they do not need to worry about placements.
Infrastructure: Our department has all the necessary facilities, including labs, Wi-Fi, and spacious classrooms. It showcases a variety of labs needed to enhance the skills of young minds. Wi-Fi is generally good, and we have library access every day throughout the year. Our hostels are spacious and suitable for living, though the mess could use some improvement. The hostel is diverse, thanks to the students living there. Canteen services are affordable, and medical services are available 24/7. For mental and physical development, the college provides a variety of sports and clubs that everyone can participate in. However, the fees to enroll in a particular sport are on the higher side.
Faculty: All teachers are extremely knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to the skills needed for placements. However, semester exams may be difficult for some students, resulting in a pass percentage of 90%.

A college to focus on career.
Placements: 1. 70% of the student got placed.
2. The lowest package is 3.5 Lacs, the highest package is 19.5 Lacs and average package is 4.5 Lacs. Larsen and Toubro, Homelane, Asian Paints, RMC and Ambuja Cement are the top recruiters. 20% students got internship. Larsen and Toubro, and PWD offered internships.
Infrastructure: The lab has highly qualified faculty members with a technician helping them, labs are well maintained with new machines according to the current construction demands and students are allowed to use the machines under guidance, safety and security of students are well maintained
2. Food is highly hygienic, various indoor courts are available, night canteen, 24/7 medical facil.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified but are not open to share their extra knowledge in the field. They simply open the presentation and read them due to lack of time
It is useful in the industry. Semester exams can be said to be difficult because VIT conducts exams with a gap of one month namely as CAT1, CAT. and FAT the final exam. Pass Percentage is 50/100 in FAT and no pass percentage in CAT.
Other: The course is set to boom in future. I chose it because had interest in this specific field. To get more practical knowledge and have more site visits and learn construction with innovation. The college has events every week, yes crowd is bit high, campus is good has greenery, lots extracurricular activities and yes awards are provided for toppers .

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Many students who are applying for the placements will get placed in a super dream company. They offer good placement opportunities. The top recruiting company is TCS. TCS has placed a national-level record of recruiting more than 3,000 students this year.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. Our college has good ambiance. Labs are equipped with air-conditioners. Many labs have laptops. The hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi facility is available 24X7 in the hostel.
Faculty: Exams are challenging, but it's worth working hard for placements. The curriculum which VIT follows is at a very advanced level. The pass percentage is 40%. The pass percentage for the final semester exam is 40%. The pass percentage for internals and externals is 50%.
Other: I opted for this course to improve my knowledge in the field of civil engineering with a world-class experience.

The infrastructure and facilities are good in our college.
Placements: The college has a placement for all students. The minimum salary package offered is 6 LPA. When you have maximum skills, you can get a job easily with a good salary package. If you have 9 pointers and skills, you can get placed with 1 crore per annum. The competition among CSE students is very tough.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available at 12.30 PM. Labs are good. Classrooms are clean. The library is available up to 12.00 PM. The hostel-in-time for girls is 8:30 PM, and after 8:30 PM, they charge Rs.100. You can go outside on weekdays for 4 hours. Air-conditioned rooms and non-air-conditioned rooms are available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Exams are difficult. They conduct 3 exams namely, CAT 1, CAT 2, and FAT. FAT exams are the main exams every semester. You have to score a minimum of 40 marks to pass.
Other: Many events are held here. The campus crowd is huge.

Overall, it's a good college and campus life is also good.
Placements: In VIT there is a good percentage of placement which is around 90%. In VIT almost everyone get dream job of 15 Lacs of CTC. Top recruitment companies are TCS, Land, Accenture and Wipro. VIT provides good jobs for every course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of VIT is good. There are 8 academic buildings, 18 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels with Wi-Fi, grocery store, medical facilities, gym and sports area. Smart classes, digital library and shuttle bus are also available. Mess is good in which food provided is tasty.
Faculty: Faculty are very good and qualified. Curriculum is very good. It includes practical knowledge and skills development courses. Courses include soft skills and labs also. Almost every component of theory includes a lab. Attendance should be 75% for every exam. Curriculum is good.
Other: There are many courses with specialization and VIT hosts two fest Gravitas and Rivera. VIT also provides scholarships. Crowd is good at VIT.

I am satisfied with good placements in 2022, good facilities, and infrastructure of our college.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 80 LPA - 90 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as L&T and Ashok Leyland visit our campus. Multiple internship opportunities are offered by our institute during the 3rd and 4th years. For exposure, multiple industrial visits are held during our 2-year period.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities are available in our college. There are multiple sports grounds and badminton courts on campus. The hostel is well-maintained and cleaned regularly. The mess food is decent and contains a variety of foods from multiple regions of our country.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are helpful and supportive. Most of the faculty members are good but some discrimination is visible during assessment and lab sessions. Semester exams are difficult as there is a lot of competition among students. The course curriculum is relevant to a specific branch.
Other: Multiple festivals and events are occasionally held on our campus. Students can take advantage of various extracurricular activities to gain certificates and scholarships.

Life of students at the college.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students get placement easily. The highest package was around 5lakh and the lowest was about 2 Lacs. Around 60 percent of students got internship. Top roles offered from college are they support you in every possible manner. And guide you towards your future.
Infrastructure: Yes Wi-Fi is available within college premises and the speed of Wi-Fi is also fine. Labs, classrooms and library are regularly cleaned and maintained. The quality of food at the college is also fine and they prepare different food at different days and special food on special occasions.

High and organized placement packages.
Placements: The batch included a total of 63 students. Our civil branch got good packages even during a harsh year like 2020. Placements as many among the total 300+ participating companies belonged to this field. The highest given package for B.Tech in Civil engineering was INR 13 Lacs per annum and that was from the big companies like Larsen and Turbo, Mitsubishi etc. I am still associated with the firm from which I got my package and it was worth INR 9 Lacs per annum and it increases the experience.
Infrastructure: The specialised occasions and sports rivalries of VIT were my main thing from the grounds life there. The foundation has occasions like Gravitas and Rivera. My time in the university library was entirely significant one as I used to cherish the quiet climate there. The social activities like Sports club, Drama club, Quiz club, VITeach, SEDS and Youth Red Cross were extremely popular among all the students.
Faculty: The reason I chose Civil Engineering was my interest in making different kinds of structures and infrastructure. I thought of pursuing this programme to excel in the field. The faculty at VIT gave all its students technical education and practical implementation services the same & the programme has a total of 8 semesters in it. Yes, it does make the students industry-ready as there are regular industry visits. You wouldn't find the exams very difficult if you study throughout the year even if you study very little.
Other: One thing I can guarantee you is, VIT won't disappoint you with the tech fest. They are exciting and competitive and you get a lot to learn from them.

All the softwares are installed in the computers in computer labs . You can access them through your I'd card and login credentials of your computer login. Then only you can access them in CB labs.

No, you will not get Vellore or Chennai campus but definitely in Bhopal or Amravati campus.
