No, there is no such provision to get direct admission in any of the UG, PG, or doctoral courses. COEP Technological University (formerly known as COEP) admissions are strictly based on merit only. Therefore, only those candidates who have valid scores/ rank of MHT-CET, GATE, JEE-Main, among others can apply for any of the courses provided by the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). The College of Engineering Pune enroll candidates in its BTech course mainly through MHT-CET and JEE-Main. Registration for MHT-CET usually starts in the month of March and it concludes in April.

Yes, the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) accepts the scorecard of JEE-Main. But the majority of seats are sanctioned for Maharashtra domicile students and are filled through MHT-CET. An additional 25% seats are provided for All India Candidates who are admitted through the JEE-Main score. Apart from UG courses like BTech the College of Engineering Pune also provides a wide range of PG and doctoral courses which have their own specified entrance exams through which students can enroll in the desired course.

To get into COEP for B.Tech, you need to pass 10+2 with PCM and qualify through MHT CET or JEE Main.
The admission process is via Maharashtra CAP counseling.
Total fees are around INR 2.8 to 6.5 lakhs for the full course depending on category and hostel preferences.
