The best college in Maharashtra that offers placement opportunities.
Placements: COEP provides better placements than other colleges in Maharashtra. The highest package is around 52 LPA, and the average package is around 11-12 LPA. Most companies that visit our college are from a software background, but there are also many opportunities for core branch students. Internship opportunities are available from the third year onwards. The top roles are from the software domain.
Infrastructure: Courses provided by COEP are the best and have a better level than the IIT curriculum. The college has the best library and Wi-Fi, but some labs are not in proper condition. The hostel provides Wi-Fi, water, solar power, and 24-hour electricity. As for the mess, the quality of the food is average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are very interactive and friendly. They help us with projects and academics. The curriculum is at a good level, but some faculty members have not completed their syllabi by the end of the semester. The college has two exams, the mid-semester exam and the end-semester exam. The mid-semester exam is for 30 marks, the end-semester exam is for 60 marks, and the remaining 10 marks are from internal assessments.
Other: Frankly, I didn’t get admission to the CS course, so I remained with this course. The second reason for choosing this course is that I wanted to learn software skills along with hardware, and this is a perfect match for those skills. There are highly qualified faculty members, including Ph.D. holders, teaching electronics courses.

COEP REVIEW by students of FY.
Placements: I am in first year, so I don't know much about placements, but according to the seniors I made, they said there are many companies that visit the college, such as Google, Microsoft, John Deere, etc. And there are foreign placements also from our college itself. The highest placement last year or this year was 87 LPA from the Instrumentation branch, and there are many kinds of interesting offers to meet, we need first year itself.
Infrastructure: I don't know about hostels I live in. I am a localised person, so according to my friends, the hostel facilities depend on the mess. If the food is really good, I have also tested it. But the rooms are just decent. There could be a Bed scene in a room, and there are flaws that there are common washrooms for every block, and there are no attached washrooms to the rooms.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, especially all the teachers are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching qualities are really nice, but there are 1-2 teachers who are not very good in teaching. However, they were knowledgeable. There are two subjects which are not really interesting, which are Biology and Geography. The second one is Energy Liberal Code. The past percentage is almost a hundred percent, but there are 12 students sometimes who fail.
Other: I chose this college because I had a good number in the M.Sc. CT, and I had heard that the college is one of the top colleges in Maharashtra. The procedure for admission to the university is also good, so I liked it much.

COEP Pune, the college of exposure and best for living an engineering life.
Placements: I am a student at COEP, pursuing a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication. Regarding placements, around 80% of students were placed last year, with some also engaged in startups. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Mastercard, Paytm, etc. Not all students get a paid internship by the fourth year. The top roles offered are electronic design engineer and telecommunication engineer, among others.
Infrastructure: To speak frankly, the infrastructure is quite old and average. In my opinion, there is some negligence in developing it. There are many facilities in the hostel and college, but the infrastructure needs significant improvement. There are several games in COEP. It is a good place for sports. This college focuses on study as well as sports.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but some faculty members will get rude and very strict. Professors are excellent in their domain. The semester exams are of a good level, but if you study every day for 2 hours, the exams will be very easy for you. The curriculum is a bit old from today's.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in interest of electronics and the electric stuff. I will suggest improving the instruments of the lab and the infrastructure in the college.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Amazon and Accenture. In our branch, the placement percentage is good. Students get polished after training, which is given by our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides enough resources. If we use them properly, then will be helpful in the future. Our college playground is average. The food served in the mess is average. The lunch is not good, but the breakfast is appreciable. We have a feast on Sunday. They provide non-vegetarian food items. The mess is closed in the afternoon, so we have to go outside to eat.
Faculty: Our teachers just try to complete the syllabus on time. The end semester is a bit difficult, but it can be managed. They give us assignments, and we have to complete them. It carries a good number of grades. Our schedule is hectic.
Other: I opted for this course because I have read some good reviews about this course. Our campus should be huge. Our college organises a Zest fest. We have to improve our skills on our own.

I would just say it's a great college for studying and campus life is good.
Placements: Statistics show that 70-80% of students got placed last year that's 2024. The highest package is 50.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. The average salary is around 11 LPA. Top recruits are Google, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, and Amazon. 85-90% of students got internships very easily as COEP has a reputed channel through which they are well-connected with companies. Design engineer, R&D engineer, software developer, network engineer, and data scientist are the top roles offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: I can assure you that the department for ENTC is good but the extension building next to AC building is very good with lots of instruments and labs are sufficient too. Hostel faculty members are good, responsible, and professional. Quality of food varies from mess to mess. First year mess is not that good compared to second-year mess. I would prefer second year mess. There is a medical check-up room too. Sports and games are also taken seriously in COEP too with great.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. If you attend the classes regularly, you can understand the course. They are qualified and knowledgeable. This course is very relevant if you have an interest in electronics PCBs and cool stuff. It makes student industry ready but your efforts matter more making you skilled than others. The semester exams are tough considering the competition in the college. The pass percentage is good around 80%. Faculty members are good but government college has a reputation for bad professors. But in COEP academics are very strong.
Other: I chose this course as I had an interest in electronics since childhood. I wanted to learn more about this in depth. This course is very hands-on, first the campus should be more alive and AC rooms should be available in summer, you get cooked in the mechanical department building and labs can be better. Ragata is a famous event, gathering fests, and crowds are mixed mostly local. The connection is good, and campus is surrounded by life. Scholarships are provided, and clubs are there for extracurricular activities.

Yes, only when your marks match their cutoff criteria. if you are DSY student and if you have your PWD certificate then you should be able to match their criteria and can get admission in ETC branch.

Hello, Pratiksha Bambatkar. To be completely honest, the government-run college of engineering in Pune does not have a set cutoff. Closing ranks, however, are accessible for the admissions procedure from past years. But that won't help this year because the marks earned in the 12th grade will also c
